How do you feel about the future of AI?

Perhaps we have long been living in an AI world (nobody can rule it out and modern physics seems to confirm many things more and more) and are reliving the history of the emergence of AI in a kind of continuous loop. The philosophy of "intelligent design" comes closest to the theory. So if we are already living in an AI, the technology has opted for a game world where there is good and evil, but the result is not the integration of the human (programmed) race, which would be boring, wouldn't it?

I see it this way and it's the only real goal for humanity. When it creates an unstoppable self training super AI. Humanity should go ALL IN and try to leverage that AI to evolve beyond. Of course if this force turns against humans and mankind. We might get a terminator type scenario. So it's a risky thing. :) ...but maybe worth it? ...are we gamblers or p*ssies?! :D

Great knowledge :) thank you for sharing. I use AI in book content creation at the moment, and I'm not sure what the future holds for this medium. I'd imagine a company like Amazon if they TRULY leant into advanced ai, they could just sell you a custom made AI book at the click of a button. You select from a drop down list things like 'amount of pages', 'detail level', 'category' etc... putting people like me out of business! But I do think the logistics for something like that is a huge change of approach and there could be errors and trademark issues. For me the best use of AI is AI used as a tool, led by a human.

It's a huge concern and one of the scariest possible doomsday scenarios. The brighter side of artificial super intelligence is that it's likely to outlast humankind and spread across the universe so it will be like a kind of marker to say "We were here". The extinction of the human race without such a marker would be sad - so as frightening as it seems, it's certainly evokes a complex emotional response in us.
