These do look cool, but they do the same goddamn thing as cheap normal casters - just at 40x the price. A rolls Royce can’t really be compromised too much without making it not a rolls Royce. But Apple could have made these only mildly fancy at $100 or something, and they still would have been the best goddamned computer wheels that exist, and everybody who had them would have been happy with it. If the Mac pro wheel is $700 for 4, this makes 1 wheel $175. $175 x 10.5 for the rims and tires it makes 1 inch wheel $1,837.5. Multiply that by the thickness by the wheels which is 8 inches and you get $14,700 for each wheel. For each wheel. That means a set of 4 will be $58,800. Combined with the brakes and rest of the suspension setup, the wheels, suspension and brakes alone could be well over $100,000. The rest of the car I shall leave it to your imagination.
