I like how passionate some people talk about these light novel characters and their powers like they belong in the Bleach franchise to begin with. Most people did not even read these and why would one be forced to turn to 'bonus content' in the first place? This only means Bleach is incomplete then so it needs these to function. But this is not true. All these light novel characters are as canon as those vampires in that filler arc.

IMO, kid zaraki meeting unohana was zaraki's greatest misfortune. She utterly wasted the kid's potential.kid zaraki was like 14 or 15 yrs tops and the zaraki we all know was like 30+yrs. That would mean bro regressed and stagnated in strength for like 15 hrs without improving. All the fight with Unohana did was to bring adult zaraki's strength back to kid zaraki's level. Obviously he'll improve after fighting strong people but imagine if that monstrous kid kept fighting string people and continued to improve in strength for like that 15 yrs gap! He would have had them espadas for a snack. What a waste

@@juicyash no one forgot that. BUT he can counter not because of he is strong but it because of his Bankai ability that always activate and merge with sarrounding reishi. So, Kyoka Suigetsu can alter reality with hypnosis by creating illution but it can't alter the base state of reishi. So countering Ks doesn't makes a big feats in bleach but it's a one of a kind and unique feat. Either way he is soo weak that pre-muken Kenpachi beat him effortlessly

As fer I can remember, it was Zaraki's intense spiritual pressure.....when Azashiro tried to kill Zaraki by merging with air and DMG him internally, he instantly got burned down by Zaraki's Spritual pressure. The whole sarrounding reishi got burn.

Funny thing is that non of those guys was actually a Kenpachi. Unohana was the first Kenpachi and she never gave up her title. Zaraki didn't became a Kenpachi until he killed unohana. That technicall makes all these other guys, self proclaimed Kenpachi. And it would technically make Zaraki the 2nd Kenpachi

The kenpachi they are is the captain of the 11th division because unohana was later assigned to 4th division so the captain of 11th division was called kenpachi but yeah the real title was with unohana

It's the contrary ... The only reason 2nd Kenpachi become 2nd Kenpachi because Unohana gave up her title ... Which make 2nd Kenpachi could be considered not legitimate Kenpachi ... Assumably 3rd through 11st Kenpachi killed/defeated the previous one (except 9th) ... Atleast Kuruyashiki (7th) was defeated by Azashiro (8th), and Kiganjo (10th) was murdered by Zaraki (11th) ... 9th Kenpachi also can be considered not legitimate since Azashiro (8th) just gave up the title and passed down to the 9th because Azashiro got jailed ... Wish we can see more about 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Kenpachi ... cmiiw

What sucks is he could’ve become so much more powerful. If he trained with his Bankai often for years like everyone else, obviously he would’ve become more proficient with it and prob would’ve been able to speed up the Bankai cool-down time drastically. Also possibly could’ve been more precise with his Bankai like having it only affecting enemies, or changing the size of the area of effect from small to large or anywhere in between depending on his enemies. He may have been able to have more then 1 area of affect with at a time per use. He could’ve been so much more broken man. But because of how powerful and dangerous it was he just kinda got screwed out of having a Bankai altogether.

That's not how it always works, Kenpachis are already overpowered and don't really that much training in terms of power, Zaraki being an exception cause he put shackles on himself, it's like Rukias bankai, it's powerful but puts her at disadvantage because it freezes her and she can't even move

The 8th kenpachi had the most broken bankai hands down even more so that any members of the zero division. His was active constantly and his power was he could become any and everything like the air, ground, fire, trees and people for some examples. That's how he beat the 7th and has no known limitations on what he could become part of

The reason he killed Kuroyashiki is because he knows his bankai is his biggest counter. He would've left him alone if only his bankai wasn't a threat to him, since Azashiro's main target is the central 46 nobles that wiped out his entire family.
