This is incredible! I never thought about that...sliding in those skirts...these women are tougher than the men honestly. You have to be and to do it every game... reopening those wounds. Wow. Respect.

Sliding in baseball in regulation pants hurts. Now slide in a skirt! These women are iconic professional athletes! They paved the way for women in sports for generations to come. Bravo ladies! And thank you. ❤️👏👏👏

My mother played softball into her late 30’s. She was a monster catcher with an incredible arm. I always think of her when in the movie, Dottie sees the short skirt of the Rockford Peaches uniform & says “I have to squat in that thing!” 😂👍👊

⚾️ ~ It’s crazy how certain types of men throughout generations just repeat their views on masculine women. Nowadays you have conservative men saying how horrible it is for society that women are not catering to their husbands left and right, so when I watched the movie “a league of their own“ just today I couldn’t help but pay attention to how they were saying the back of the 1940s if women played competitive sports that it was the “masculinization of women“. 😂
