Here is the text of the "Manual": The Balancing Kit should only be used if there is anunacceptable amount of fan-wobble after completing all the steps in your Owners Manual under "Attaching The Fan Blades." 1. Turn the fan on and set the speedcontrol setting to a speed at which the wobble is the greatest. 2. Turn off the fan and allow it to come to a complete stop. Select one blade and place the balance clip on it. halfway between the blade holder tip on the trailing edge of the blade. 3. Turn the fan on. Note whether the wobble has increased or decreased. Turn the fan off, move the clip to another blade and retest. Repeat this procedure on all blades noting the blade on which the greatest improvement is achieved. 4. Move the clip back to the blade that showed the greatest improvement. Move the clip inward on this blade and operate the fan th find the position where the clip gives the improvement. 5. Remove the clip and install a balancingweight to the blade along the centerine near the point where the clip was positioned.

17:41 This was a creature who wanted to take on the shape of a human. One day this creature thought that if it made a company it could steal the body of some poor unfortunate worker. After a month of hiding from the employees it found its target being a man named Thomas Samson. It's slug like form attacked Samson and crawled down his neck and took over Samson's mind. However a friend of Samson saw the attack and fought back against the creature who now invested his friend. The creature crawled on the walls and Samson's eyes turned black. After minutes of fighting the friend managed to tear the nose off using a wrench. From Samson a devilish voice cried out saying MY NOSE MY NOSE YOU TOOK MY NOSE! The creature lept up through the roof and Samson was pronounced dead and the friend was arrested for involvement in the disappearance through the nose. Shortly after the mascot of the business changed its mascot from a bear to a man with no nose. Now the creature lurks though the homes close to its business and looks for the next body to infect changing mascots as the bodies are swapped. Hope you liked my creepy pasta.

Chairs at 14:28, that is something that is called "Hidden Hostile Design", the city planners do not want to ride bikes there or that folk stand in that area, so they put chairs that are very unpractical and hard to sit on, folk think the city made a resting area but it is just a way for the city to avoid make real benches that homeless or drunk folk can rest on, and as you see, all chairs are made for a person that are alone and not for two friends that want to rest. Folk may say; but there is a table there for a group of four, but that table is to small so when folk sit there their feet will almost touch and you can't use that table for eating or anything. It is your city's way to say "piss off" in a polite way.

13:54 I'm epileptic and have found myself in the hospital a handful of times throughout the pandemic as a result (I live in Canada, if that matters). At least 20% of the nursing staff that I saw were either wearing their masks below their noses, under their chins or simply not wearing any face coverings what so ever. Mostly nurses working behind the desks but that didn't really make me feel much safer. It still blows my mind in hindsight, hospital staff (in the ICU no less) not wearing masks during a fucking pandemic.

@@linainverse9369 if wearing a mask is suffocating, how do surgeons wear them for upwards of 12 hours straight during procedures that require sterile environments? Surely such procedures would be impossible. Oh wait, masks don't actually suffocate. They're made to block droplets, not oxygen. Professional athletes, dancers, and laborers have all worn masks in recent years while performing strenuous activity, and I haven't heard of a single incident of anyone dropping dead from mask suffocation.

30:47 Holding the blade of your sword was an actual technique used by knights in the medieval ages. If I recall, it was called half-swording. While it seems dangerous, soem swords were actually designed to be used like this, and it gives you better control and precision with your stabs.

Yup. But half-swording is only ever done while wearing suitable protective gear on your hands (or, I would assume, if you're absolutely desperate), and was done with swords that were more or less sharp all the way down to the crossguard. And as the name suggest, one hand is roughly halfway up the blade for this. It's also done for control (central swivel point - quick redirection), but more importantly it allows some additional techniques (like the always fun "bonk him over the head with the pommel"), and it "shortens" the blade, to use in very close combat, to wind the other fighter's weapon out of their hand, to assist parrying a heavy blow from above, etc.. What she's doing...is basically standing in a pose that would require the longer handle of a two-handed sword...with a one-handed sword, with a style suggesting no blunting on the lower blade. Basically, she's losing some fingers with her first forceful strike. You *can* use an unprotected hand to stabilize a one-handed sword by putting it alongside the flat side of the blade for certain techniques (for example, a "parry assist" that you can turn into a sliding counter-attack...if that description makes any sense to you), but that's not what she's doing either.

@@netkat7486 I do agree but the only reason to do so is to be comfortable with my experience in hema there still isn’t much of a risk ungloved with halfswording up until your friend hits your hand on the lower part which tends to happen when you fuck up swinging or parrying while half swording and your buddy clips your hand

I think it's called X-ray or something, it's a thing Amazon prime does, it pops up every time you pause and lists all the actors in the scene and sometimes gives little fun facts so if you pause before the killer is revealed it spoils the mystery

Those "beard" t-shirts; not sure about his, but the logo on hers is definitely a flat overlay. [] There was a public building where I used to live which had a disabled lift - but no button to call the lift down and no intercom to tell the person at reception that you needed the lift. You had to go up the steps to tell them that you couldn't get up the steps and needed to use the lift.

1:02:57 The crappy design is that, with some things, when you pause it shows what actors play what characters. They aren't at the end of the show/movie yet, they don't know who the killer is, and now the tv gave it away by not using a different name.

The other side (shown) mirrors the 3 drawers but is a single door that hides a mechanism (apparently removed from this one, since they stopped making Selectrics like 40 years ago) which has a spring-loaded slide out shelf that holds a 50# IBM Selectric (or equivalent) typewriter. Once you pull it out, it pops up to desk height for typing. A stereotypical 60's 100# typist would need to be careful pushing it back down to put away, she might not have the mass to do it. And she should completely not go anywhere near it if there's no typewriter on it, she'd beat Alan Shepard into space.

17:00 originally it was the lowest point but over time the ground sinks and raises and usually infrastructure like sewers prevents the ground from lowering, so the ground around the drains ends up lowering and the drain is no longer effective. Modern designs have compound mesh to fix this problem but this is most likely an older drain

17:09 I know a similar place. The actual hole thing (it’s not a curb so it goes straight down) is in a depression in the ground. HOWEVER, there’s a small problem. It’s on a tiny hill of concrete, so while it’s under the rest of the ground height, it’s acytually the same level. Above a depression in the ground.
