I just finished watching it. All I can say is that this film is amazing! Its a shame Hollywood no longer makes movies like this. But still, one of the best Sci-Fi films I had watch.

I like this trailer - I felt the theatric trailer completely gave a different impression of the mood of the film to what it was when I finally seen it.

As much as I like the trailer, it was one of those trailers that leave you feeling like you've seen the whole thing. it was too long for the movie's own good as there is nothing in the movie that you didn't show here, I understand that if you you are trying to give a glimpse of what's waiting for people, but the viewer must also have a few surprises left in store upon the actual viewing. For instance, Showing that water tentacle should be left for the theater

Today watching it after 20 years I can tell you if you are Avatar generation people, watch ABYSS to better understand James Cameron's affection for "water stuff". Через этого духа, все демоны мучители находящиеся в нём, могут отображать но на лице самого человека, проявление своей страсти. ПОЧЕМУ фильм ЛУКАВСТВО. В конце фильма намеренно ЛОЖНО ПОКАЗАНЫ «РОЛИ» которые в духе(демоне) немощи исполняют ДЕМОНЫ МУЧИТЕЛИ ЛУКАВСТВА И ТЩЕСЛАВИЯ. Что касается концовки фильма то главный герой оказавшийся на дне и захлебнувшийся символизирует то как демон мучитель тщеславия может погубить человека в реальной жизни. В жизни именно «последняя роль» этого демона приведёт человека к самоубийству. А некие инопланетяне поднявшие его символизируют дьявола, который «доставит» этого но уже снова демона(когда сам человек будет загублен), как и всю команду, в душу уже другого человека(если по фильму то на «новую лодку»). ПОЧЕМУ фильм НАСМЕШКА. Сам же ФИЛЬМ также НАМЕРЕННО «РАЗЖИГАЕТ», но В ДУШАХ самих ЗРИТЕЛЕЙ, действие множества СТРАШНЫХ ПОРОЧНЫХ СТРАСТЕЙ, таких как ГОРДЫНЯ, ГНЕВ, НЕНАВИСТЬ, ТЩЕСЛАВИЕ(ПАГУБНАЯ СТРАСТЬ К ЛЮДСКОЙ СЛАВЕ, СРЕБРОЛЮБИЕ(ПАГУБНАЯ СТРАСТЬ К ДЕНЬГАМ). А ЭТО всё ГРЕХИ. А ГРЕХ это РАНА которую человек наносит прежде всего сам СВОЕЙ ДУШЕ. РАНА которая ОТКРЫВАЕТ ДУШУ ДЛЯ ДЕМОНОВ МУЧИТЕЛЕЙ, БЕСОВ ПОРОЧНЫХ СТРАСТЕЙ, слуг дьявола. Герой с крестом на шее, в одном из кадров он активно крестится, и вырубившим мощным ударом одного из злодеев, символизирует в фильме демона мучителя ненависти. Тем не менее так создатели фильма образно гнусно намекают на Бога. Так вот. БОГ ЕСТЬ ЛЮБОВЬ и НИКОГДА и никого НЕ НАКАЗЫВАЕТ. НО БОГА ОБИДЕТЬ НЕ ВОЗМОЖНО ОН БЕССТРАСТЕН, а вот ХУЛА ЕГО это БОЛЬШОЙ ГРЕХ, поэтому каждый человек вставший на путь богохульства делает хуже только сам своей душе. И ВОТ как БЫЛО БЫ ХОРОШО, ЧТОБЫ КАЖДЫЙ зритель ПОНИМАЛ это. НО всё ЭТО очень «тонкие» моменты, ПОНЯТЬ которые МОЖНО будет ТОЛЬКО ЧИТАЯ, И ГЛАВНОЕ, ИЗУЧАЯ КНИГУ ЖИЗНИ, СВЯТОЕ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ. Ну И ЕСЛИ каждый человек захочет "БОРОТЬСЯ" СО своими ПОРОЧНЫМИ СТРАСТЯМИ , ТО для начала, НУЖНО ПОВЕРИТЬ В БОГА, ПРЕСВЯТУЮ ТРОИЦУ: ОТЦА(СОЗДАТЕЛЯ ВСЕГО ЖИВОГО И НЕ ЖИВОГО, ВИДИМОГО мира и НЕ ВИДИМОГО),через СЫНА БОГА СЛОВО(ИИСУСА ХРИСТА), СВЯТОГО ДУХА. А ЧТОБЫ "ПРИЙТИ" к БОГУ или ПОЗНАТЬ БОГА необходимо ПОКАЯНИЕ.
