I am totally in your camp. If you find it, sign me up, ;). But if someone says "The Abyss Alternate Ending Deleted Scene", it should be that and not a cut-together from a bunch of other movies... you realize some people watched this and that that was ACUTALLY what James Cameron had tried to make? The Deleted part walked up to the edge of an apocolypse, then the way turned around and roled back out to sea. The aliens did it because Burt did a sacrifice-play for their sake, not knowing that their water-control ability would almost certainly have kept them safe. This makes the Aliens strong and bolsters the message Burt sent saying they want Humans to stop "hurting each-other. getting out of control".

lol *I LOVE THIS!* that SOULD have been what happened in the actual movie. My idea for an alternate ending would have been at the wire snipping scene shortly before this when hes snipping the wire to the nuke bomb but he cant see the wire colors so he takes a guess; SNIPPED THE WRONG WIRE MOTHERFUCKER = *BOOM!!* hahaha
