I don’t know. I think the Imperium’s biggest mistake is when the Inquisition started going after fan animators and various other faithful servants to the emperor.

@@ProjectEkerTest33 personally my head canon is that every other faction, excluding orks and nids just dont have the numbers or territories to really come out on top in a pyrrhic battle. The Eldar and tau have great tech but low numbers and the necrons are busy doing other shit half the time. Chaos has to convert imperial citizens to supplement their numbers, the only faction that seems to have a massive amount of blood and treasure is the Imperium. The orks tend to outnumber the Imperium in combat but I would wager they take higher casualties due to their....um nature. The Nids are really the only major threat to the Imperium due to the fact that they can out "bleed" the Imperium.

@@scottdodge6979 Also the tyranids are the only really united force out of those apart from the imperium. The elder both dark and not are broken up into cabals and craftworlds respectively. The orks are massively fragmented and the Necron dynasties infight as well.

Frankly I’m surprised St Basilius was still around for the Vorpal Swords to get hold of him regardless of how much time passed. Convincing nearly a legion worth of Space Marines to run right into the grasp of the Chaos gods to either die or turn traitor? Only nine other servants of Chaos have achieved that particular feat and of those who survived, all were rewarded with daemonhood.

Please do the Damocles Gulf Crusade The lore is really interesting it is the first time tau encounter Titans, also tau use AI as a commander then when the imperium learn about it they use psyker to glitch the AI and finally tau casualties are in billions.

i'm starting to doubt that there's only one million active loyalist marines, there's probably at least one or two hundred thousand more than that now that we're quite a bit into m42 and _most_ chapters got quite a bit of primaris reinforcements, unless a significant amount of marines from every chapter fall to chaos or die to "balance out" their varying recruitment rates...

@@elYIiLy The Traitor Legions have fully recovered from the Heresy/Scouring, back to full strength The Black Legion, Death Guard and Emperor's Children are actually bigger present day than during the Heresy A lot of Marines die in the Great Rift. The vast majority of Primaris are just cannon fodder

How about a video on what is inside the eye of terror? How many planets? Who lives on them? What do they eat? Where do they get resources? Is it just 3000 planets of a barren rock with 80,000 very dehydrated chaos Marines playing pictionary trying not to murder each other and deplete themselves?

Well he technically didn't have a plan on closing the eye, but he did have a plan to starve chaos due to using the webway, with humans in the webway it would've starved the chaos gods, and some people conclude that if sleenash does die the eye will close due to it being opened at she/he/it's birth

You make a good point as trigger happy as the inquisition is whenever anyone wants to do anything especially when the plan involves armed forces the fact no one stopped for 5 seconds to ask why enough space Marines to bring down just about any force in real space was being sentenced to death for simply doing thier job

Biggest mistake: Splitting the Imperial Fists. Rogal Dorn was doing a good job keeping his sons loyal, active and effective: Sigismund, Halbrecht, Alexis Polus, Maximus Thane, etc.

The Vorpal Swords seem to be a pretty badass chapter and they have a badass color scheme to match. I wish we would see more of them in the current 40k setting, given their expertise in fighting chaos and the opening of the Great Rift. It would be pretty cool to see them fighting some of the chaos war bands formed from the fallen Chapters of the Abyssal Crusade. Maybe having some veteran Marine or a Dreadnaught who was a part of the Abyssal Crusade present.
