I had the same situation with my kid, everyone told me to give him away for ten years. Now he came back and he is perfect. No more pooping or peeing everywhere. Now we can finally enjoy our baby.

here’s the biggest pet peeve I have with people who get animals: they don’t do research. research is very important for any animal including fish (I’m serious). people who don’t do research should not be able to adopt pets. it’s people like them that animals are neglected and end up in shelters.

Literally not that hard to train a dog. While my dad was deployed my mom trained our puppy WHILE taking care of 7 children all by herself. Like it’s really not as complicated as they make it out to be.

I mean sending a dog to a trainer is completely normal. But their reasoning behind it is not. A lot of people send shepherds and dobermans or super smart dogs to trainers/training facilities for obedience training. But sending them off to get trained because you don’t want to watch it is an issue.

I just want to say… sending a puppy away to be trained is a terrible idea. My mom did this with her German Shepherd and the dog came back and reverted right back to how she was before she left… the OWNERS need to be there and put the effort not pay to have someone do it for you.

I had a really difficult time with training our puppy. He's a stubborn breed, and we have a toddler, as well. But we NEVER even considered sending him away. I feel like that would be counter-productive, the owners and dog have to learn to communicate and work together. Plus, poor pupper. 💔

I keep hearing it being said that the house was "sold" for 10 mil. or "bought" for 10 mil. It was not. No one bid on it during the auction and it was returned to the bank. They told a really long and convoluted story full of lies to trick their audience. The bottom line is they had a mortgage and didn't pay their bills so it was foreclosed on. PERIOD. It's mind boggling to me how many youtubers are reviewing this story and coming out the other end feeling bad for the Ace family. This home was yet another Ace Family scam.

I'm sure they're renting the home - which is why they can't have the dog tearing up their "new house". Hence the sudden importance in getting him trained. They have a foreclosure judgment against them and lawsuits pending. I don't know of any reputable lenders that would loan these two money right now.

As someone who has helped trainers in their classes. It’s 100% more about training the human then the dog. The dog needs repetition. Even if a trainer train your dog. Once they’re home you need to continue the training otherwise it’s useless

I work with dogs and the training will completely undo itself if they arent also educating themselves and carry on the training when the dog comes back. i work at a vet office and its incredibly common to send a puppy away for training lol. he's going to be a massive dog, if they feel like they aren't able to train him without help as first time dog owners it's a lot safer.

Professional dog trainer here, board and trains are not bad, though I usually only reccomend them for severe behavior problems. Even after doing the board and train, Austin and Catherine would still need to work with a trainer and put in work to keep the training. If they aren't consistent, the training won't mean shit.

A lot of people send their dogs away for training. I'm just worried that they have these expectations that in 2 weeks their dog will be perfectly trained and well-behaved. I don't think they realize that they'll still have to put in a lot of work. 2 weeks isn't enough. The dog will need to be consistently worked with when it gets back. They will be in for a surprise when their dog gets home and isn't a perfect little angel.
