@@mariamyupperz7614 even being someone that's experienced such an upbringing, I'd think you would agree that just because its how it usually is, doesn't mean its okay. If parents aren't strict with their sons or even teach them basic respect, they're the same boys that could potentially grow up to hurt someone else's daughters. But of course, Austin would expect nothing but perfection from boys in the future for his daughter, yet he wants to let HIS son do whatever freely? Toxic asf

My parents obliviously did something similar to me when I was a child - a neighbor boy had a crush on me I didn't know about, but they decided to interrogate me in a way that left me extremely ashamed and nervous around guys for a huge part of my life. Later on in my adulthood, they began wondering why I wasn't actively looking for relationships or struggled with feelings of shame and discomfort in disclosing any kind of feelings for someone. I admittedly needed therapy to sort through that deeply-rooted trauma. And it's just so frustrating now to see that not only Austin and Catherine are engaging in this behavior with their daughters, who clearly seem confused and uncomfortable by the situation, but they're promoting this as entertainment for other people to get a laugh from. This is so invasive and traumatizing.

Just educate them EQUALLY and give all your kids the trust they deserve or otherwise they will not tell u sht and still do whatever tf they want even if you don't agree

"I don't want my kids to go crazy when they move out" meanwhile saying he wants to raise the girls stricter than the boy. Sir that is HOW you have your kids go crazy when they move out. For example, my parents had a very open and honest household with my sister and I, like we were allowed to drink and do the drugs because thats what teenagers do (and my father had a "if you've done it, I've done it" mantra). And if either one of us needed to be picked up from a party he would come, pick us up and then just not say anything, and we wouldn't get in trouble as long as we we're honest. Now my cousins family were very strict, and after their 2 oldest kids moved out they became crazy partyers. And a whole bunch of other bullshit to the point one of my cousins got kicked out of college.
@JiggyAbraham
@JiggyAbraham 2 жыл бұрын
Can vouch for this I got 6 older siblings and mum was strictest on the oldest and as each grew older into the teens she slightly got less strict after learning mistakes from the previous one and I had the least rules and most freedom and was most open about things and I probably partied the least after college and had the best relationship and was set up the best, but our sisters were treated more strict and they resented my parents for a while until they adapted their ways and their relationship improved. You shouldn’t treat boys less strict than boys cause then when they grow up they’ll think they can do more than girls and that’s the root of society’s problems

Raising your kids differently based on gender really messes with your childs emotions and minds. My parents, without really knowing, raised me and my brother differently, had different expectations and held us to different standards. I resent them for doing so and I resent my brother. It still shows to this day that we were raised differently just by our opinions and actions.

How anyone thinks filming this content and posting it on the internet is ok in any way, shape, or form, is so twisted in the mind. They’re prioritizing views and money over the welfare and privacy of their children, which parents are LITERALLY required to do for their children! 🤮

Someone said to me once, u won't post photos and videos of children, but u do ur pets. Do animals feel a level of shame or embarrassment? Yep. Will they be damaged by knowing thousands of people see them and think things about them? Nope. The humiliation for a child can be lifelong, and again, they r humans. If I won't post my pets' every action, how much more do our humans deserve privacy. I don't hate all family channels. I do watch Colleen Ballinger and Laura Clery. They do not exploit. They don't humiliate them for money. It's part of their family unit. Those children r free and happy, they just live. A mother such as Catherine being obsessed with her appearance is extremely toxic to a young girl, or boy for that matter.

Broadcasting your children getting hurt and going to the hospital reminds me of that MySpace Munchausen mom who killed her own kid via salt poisoning, and instead of being absolutely devastated, she just took hundreds of photos of her dead son in the hospital bed for MySpace to see. These are not public moments. These are incredibly personal moments that are NOT the business of anyone outside the family, and I wish the Ace Family could comprehend that. This is disgusting.

The whole " being strict more with my daughters about boyfriends than my son". First of all, we live in a society thats always done this and its led to girls growing up feeling that if boys look at them or god forbid, theyre sexually assaulted, that its THEIR FAULT, when we need to treat all kids the same and teach them that its okay to have a partner AS LONG AS THEY TREAT YOU RIGHT AND YOU TREAT THEM RIGHT. Treating a son differently by being more lax with dating means youre not teaching them the same values about self love and genuine respect. Well. The value the Ace family teach arent good in general... I like sex. Ive had sex with a lot of people and I GET SHAMED AS A WOMAN FOR THIS whereas men get praised for 'hittin' it' and being a 'player' when really we just need to teach all genders that it's okay to have a partner and teach then about healthy relationships and teach them to be able to assess their self worth so that they can tell, in the future, if theyre in an unhealthy relationship or teaching them the ability to have the confidence to say " I'm not being treated the way I SHOULD be treated and no man or woman is worth me feeling like this and thats okay to stand up for myself because I rather be single and feel respected than be in a relationship and feel like this". Ihave a six year old daughter. I also don't push the idea that it only HAS TO BE boyfriends, husbands or prince's. That it CAN be a girlfriend, wife or princesses that you can fall in love with. Yes. It's young to talk about this stuff with kids. But most girls talk about boyfriends or pretend to have imaginary weddings or being rescued by a prince because it's what they see, even in Disney movies. It's okay to pretend. I was 5 and got married to my imaginary friend Peter that my older sisters officiated:p kids do that. But being THIS serious like Austin was was more of a....tone you should use when they're preteens or young teens and they're getting to that age where they actually underatand WHAT a crush is, what a partner is and that age where notes are passed around that say " Do you like me? ○YES ○NO". Let them pretend. They don't actually understand what having feelings for another person is. Also. Kids shouldn't have access to regular KZfaq or TikTok. They have access to see things young eyes shouldn't see and then that leads to kids trying to emulate what they see and try to get a boyfriend or girlfriend too young without understanding what feelings are or valuing and identifying their self worth within a relationship or getting a relationship just to have a relationship and it ends up being with another kid who doesn't treat them right because they're too young to understand what having real feelings are and if you don't have real feelings for a person, you don't treat them how you should in a healthy relationship. I don't like the Ace family. I've watched like one video of them and...gaggggggg. Kids...are little balls of clay that parents GET TO MOULD AND EVERYTHING YOU SAY AND DO HAS SUCH A LASTING EFFECT. Seriously. You could raise a child perfectly and then at age 13, you say one wrong thing and it completely destroys the way they think about something and now they carry that perception with them the rest of their life and its damaging. Everyday, every minute and every interaction has to be delicate and correct because this is a damn human being and you do t want to fuck them up for the rest of their life.
