I don't to be honest but mostly because his taste does not really suit me. He generally seeks super exclusive watches such a his obsesion with mings (which imo are ok, but mostly over priced.)

While an attractive watch, it does not look very legible. The first rule of watches for me is that is has to be legible.

It’s a dress watch. Its primary purpose is to be beautiful. You aren’t wearing this scuba diving or airplane flying or car racing. Who cares if it takes an extra second to read the time?

I wonder if I’d be able to tell the time with it in low-light situations (or basically any event I’d be wearing a watch like this to).

Can NOT see the time… easily… have to keep looking at it to know what time it is! I think this is nuts. If I can’t read the time… I sell i fast or I don’t buy it! That’s me! Need another watch. Have to wear 2 watches to know the time! True.

something is abit wrong in this watch.... aventurine dial is not so suitable for guilloche as the guilloche and aventurine patterns sort of cancels out each others effect.

The point that it all kind of blends together to look blue puts me off of the watch. Anyone can make a pretty looking dial but I think there is some expertise in making a dial legible AND beautiful. I hope we see the Cartier Tank American soon. Great video as always.
