Cheap prices for animals = scam or factory farmed pets.

You should teach your African greys to say: The African Gray Journal here, 😂 But one tip if you want to teach them to talk, take one of them to another room, and teach him/her to talk, because if you teach them how to talk in the same cage they will distract the other and not pay any attention to what you are saying!!

Hahaha that would be awesome! We’ll work on that. Thanks for tip! 🦜

Thanks for this video. There are a lot of people that are interested in getting a parrot/bird and might be prey for these scammers. Looking forward to your upcoming videos and the naming of your African Grey's. Best wishes.

But when I got my second budgie they said that he was 100 percent a normal bird, but that was not the case, he couldn't fly very well, and his wings was not clipped, but i learned him to fly, he nou can only fly a short distance, ❤❤❤❤❤
@Africangreyjournal12 күн бұрын
Wow, I’m glad you were able to get him flying again! Did you ever find out why he was unable to fly?
@Firefox1495812 күн бұрын
@@Africangreyjournal the people that had him never gave him a chance to fly, he was in a small cage cramped with other budgies, so when we got him, it was as if he had flapped his wings for the first time, but he can fly very great now, can't wait for the next vid. ❤❤

Hey brother, watching from the UK, been breeding greys and yeah there are lots of scammers, my greys bred once this year but it seems like i cant get them to breed more than one a year, any tips? I am feeding them pellets, veggies and calciworms (great for them if you have never tried them)
@Africangreyjournal12 күн бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching! How old is your pair? Ive found that the best way to stimulate Greys to breed is to add a significant amount of soft wood to the nest. Chewing the wood and preparing the nest has a huge impact on the fertility of the male and it also induces ovulation in the female. You’d also want to increase the amount of protein in their diet when you add the wood as this is a great stimulant as well.
@asurani8mare81012 күн бұрын
@@Africangreyjournal thanks man, male is 6 and female is 10, i found that with greys its best to have the female older than the male as many of them only start laying eggs at around 7 anyways, they are inside the nest chewing away most days and tbh i am using a high protein pellet anyways but i guess its just a matter of time, thanks for the reply though, i have been looking for an english speaking african grey channel for years lol, please keep up the good work

Im from africa brother, own sevral African Greys, I have never paid more than $350 dollars for a fully hand-reared african Grey in South Africa.... the ones getting scammed are any American who pays $5000 dollars for an african grey!!!!!! In that case you're better off taking a chance with an online scammer.... better than paying some pet store owner $5grand and putting his kids through college....
@Africangreyjournal13 күн бұрын
@@gregfredericks3376 Thank you for your comment! Im only speaking about the USA. The people paying $5000 for an African grey have the means to do so.

In Germany you can see sometimes African Greys, Macaws, Cockatoos and even monkeys offered for very low prices. It is no secret that these scammers are from Cameroon
@Tailionis12 күн бұрын
Obviously.. Other countries will have different prices. Ignorant comment.
