It's very similar of the Yugas in Baghavad Gita of India and the 5 suns of Aztec/Mayans. I believe that the 5 ages of man is a real historical event and indeed we're in the Iron Age. Interesting video; I'd like to know more about what caused the transition from the Golden Age to the Silver Age. Here it just seems like a gradual decay without a defining cause or causes.

I think that the iron age has ended with the 1st industry revolution which ended by the invention of computer that mark the start of the digital age which is the current age

We are currently living in the age of plastic and silicone, which some may argue is a downfall for humanity.

I think we are in the Age of Greed & Selfishness. Everything that is happening in this world relates to "I want, i want..." And now is is the greediness of "I will do anything to take over this world's money".

What were the reasons and circumstances in the down spiral from one superior age to the next below? It resembles a bit the Ancient Greek circle of government: democracy, aristocracy, and monarchy, and the three degenerate forms of each of these governments: ochlocracy, oligarchy, and tyranny.
