Finally, someone who sees wood as an upgrade. Beautiful rifle!

For wood furniture, it kind of depends on what kind of ak you want. Wood furniture will always be the best looking. There is no reason to have composite if theres nothing special about it. If its composite, i want rails and a folding stock.
@toycoma982 жыл бұрын
I had black furniture like his old one on my bulgarian, changed it to bakelite, then i went with laminated russian wood. My ak looks just like a type 3. I like the wood better.

I'm so glad you decided to put wood on it. I was kinda gutted when I watched your restoration with more modern materials. Nothing against the modern stuff, but classic wood on a classic AK is a must. Well done
@psychosis17672 жыл бұрын
I think it may have given a new soul and a modernization to the gun with the plastic/polycarbonate furnishing and made it a little lighter, but in the end you can't beat wood
@dylanwight57642 жыл бұрын
There's only so much you can do to modernize a rifle that doesn't already have the provision for optics or electronic accoutrements. So why not dial it back a bit? Reject modernity, embrace tradition!

hello buddy, I watch you from Russia and am very glad to see this rifle on your channel! this weapon is the history of the country, easy to use even for a child (I don’t know if it’s good or bad), we disassembled and assembled this machine gun at school, it’s nice to see that you turned a piece of rust into a full-fledged device, you were lucky to have a real Russian AKM that went through such a horror. Interesting. I assume that in addition to the physical block for the selector, the actual bit of metal that is attached to the selector that governs the hammer and disconnector was adjusted, since I believe that the middle position is fully automatic on military spec AKs? Great video!
@mikenorthrop58152 жыл бұрын
Yea, usually right in the middle is full auto, this one must have been a proper select fire rifle but I'm guessing he had to adjust some things and remove the auto sear or however AK's do it, for it to only work in semi auto for the sake of legality
