Now at the age of 40, I am thrilled to share that my passive income exceeded $100k in a single year for the first time. This success reinforces the importance of the advicmonth e mentioned earlier. It is not about achieving quick wealth, but rather ensuring long-term financial prosperity.

I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.

It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. I have to say that the first $100k is the toughest, it'll surprise you how easy it gets from there, i'm speaking from experience my wife and i managed to save it, we could have spent it on a lot of things i mean we could have gone on vacations but we didn't and funny enough didn't really start seriously investing until I was 30 back in 1998. Today, I'm 53 and have a decent $1.2M nest egg. After learning all of this, my only regret is not starting earlier when I was 25. It may not seem like much but those extra 5 years are the most important.

Money makes you more of what you already are as Dave Ramsey says. But money and having plenty of it takes one huge stress out of your world. Especially when your money is working as you sleep and pours in no matter what on a monthly basis. My passive income is much more then what I need and I literally have to reinvest it and at least 30-40 % on a monthly basis. I saved hard when I was young I worked as much o.t. When I was young to save. Then once I learned how to actually invest wow that change my life. Now it’s like a snowball that can’t be stopped no matter what mr market does thanks to my FA Emily Lois Parker.

But, somehow my youthful energy and my focus on wanting more kept me occupied and moving forward. I am not rich, but I am not poor and haven’t been for a very long time now. If Prof G comes out with his next book about the Algebra of Wealth, I would definitely buy it. The 2 books of his that I have serve as the father I never had and the mentor I’ve always wanted. Thank you for always sharing your wisdom and knowledge, Prof G!

POOR MINDSET IMMEDIATELY SEES A SURPLUS AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CONSUMPTION. RICH MINDSET SEEKS TO SPEND THEIR TIME, RESOURCES, AND ENERGY ON WORK THAT CONTINUES TO PAY OFF LONG AFTER THE EFFORT HAS BEEN INVESTED.

To succeed in trading or investing in forex. You must have reviewed and put into consideration the dynamics of your trading assets in prior to investing, Analysis based on research is vital. that's why I strongly recommend trading with a professional if you don't know the basis.

Forex trading is very profitable only if you understand the basis of Forex trading or else you will blow off your account, no matter how much you started with. That's why I strongly recommend you trade with an expert until you feel you are good enough to trade the market, especially understanding the market movement and chart patterns.

US 10y yield probing 1.7% for the first time since January 2020 and USD is clawing back lost ground. Looks like the dust is settling on the #FOMC and the reflation narrative is returning

@@robinsonjon8632 since I got to understand how trading works better. I follow Mrs Patricia Tuners rules and this has worked amazing for me. Diversify, dollar or pounds cost averaging investing method, portfolio re-balance every quarter and I've found a mix of managed and index funds has worked out the best for me

This is the kind of thought process that youngsters like me should have. Expecting profits over night is always risky. Stock markets are no longer running on fundamentals. A good example: There's no reason for Tesla fan boys to drive the market cap upto where it is right now. Sadly, People love to live on dopamine instead of fundementals.

This is great advice. I started 'late' at about 30 with some minor debts and a raging consumption habit. I've never been a super high income earner, but we do OK, and i saved a lot of it. We still travel/go out too much, but have built layers of security SLOWLY. its painful to see them stripped away quickly, but having them there at all is a luxury most people don't have that sets them back a lot.

That word "focus" has always been a issue with me, having been diagnosed with ADHD, it's quite a struggle, we need to work so much more harder at it. Great advice though, it's not how much you earn but how much you keep is so true. I'd like to just add, I believe you really truly have to want it, not just consciously say I want to be or have so and so but to desire it badly and also WHY, which is the first thing you should ask yourself. And whatever it is you choose to do, make sure it's something meaningful. Goodluck to you all on your journey. And it's the journey you should enjoy, don't wait till you get there to be happy.
