The Washington National Cathedral (official name: The Cathedral Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul) is known as a House of Prayer for All People that holds 1,500 worship services a year drawing 160,000 worshippers to its campus. This building took 83 years to complete and you will see why as we tour. The architecture and artwork on display in this building is amazing. The Cathedral seeks to communicate Biblical stories, Christian values and American experiences - but also strives to be a place of peace and reconciliation for all people regardless of religion or nationality. As we prepare for Easter, we wanted to share this wonderful place with you. May you have a blessed Easter - a meaningful Passover - or a beautiful spring!

The architecture is stunning. I'm in awe of the design and how much detail there is. I never knew there was a president buried there. The stain glass and marble is gorgeous. Beautiful tour.

I absolutely love the National Cathedral! My first degree was in art history with an emphasis on medieval architecture, and this is the one closest example that exists in the United States. When I visited it in college, I spent hours climbing upstairs, lying on the floor, taking photos from every angle! I also spent a ton of time in the gift shop and took several items home.

Stunning Cathedral. Loved the history and story behind it's foundations. So many known figures who have spoken in this Cathedral. The art work is amazing. Hopefully they can raise enough money to repair the damage. Darth Vader was an unusual choice for a Gargoyle. Thank you for the great tour. 🙏🏼👍🏼❤

Hi guys, great tour as always and this was an absolutely beautiful gothic style limestone cathedral and amazing to think it has 231 stained glass windows. I loved the space window because of it actually having the moonrock inserted into it, it was lovely and I also loved the vision of heaven window. Its great that this place is a National Monument for all faiths . The Holy Spirit Chapel looked so peaceful and so did St John's Chapel and that organ has over 10,000 pipes ? Wow ! Such a wonderful cathedral and the view of the gargoyles from the observation deck was good to see. Loved seeing this :) ~ Anna 👍

This is amazing. You guys covered so much compared to us. We’ll be going here next time we are here. Can’t believe construction completed in 1990. I was here as a little kid. Reminds me of all those churches in Europe. Darth Vader grotesque was a great find and my favorite. Happy Easter.

Is stunning but very sad how this country has no tradition that instead of putting saints they put historical figures as if they belong in a cathedral let’s be honest that could go in a museum if I wanna go to a cathedral I wanna see every saint in the book not old presidents
