This show was bizarre, wacky, stylized beautifully, well written, well acted, and clearly, never got past its pilot episode. Really too bad, I loved it.

Emperor Zombie honestly stole the spotlight in this pilot. God how I wish this got made into a series.

Oh my gosh. I never loved a pilot soo much. Emperor Zombie was hilarious, I wasn't sure who I was rooting for! (Head of course). And of all the ways to make Lincoln more awesome than being the king of Mars or a vampire slayer. This needs to continue.

Whether or not Mignola would have continued this for Syfy or whether it was simply Syfy not picking up the series after the pilot [a loss either way; it's fantastic], my main reaction at the end of the day is: "Damn. Why couldn't they make the animated 'Hellboy' look like this?" This is one awesome show. Pity this is all there will [probably] ever be.

It's David Hyde Pierce. You might remember him as the brother in 'Frasier'. He also did the voice acting for Abe Sapien in the first Hellboy movie.
