The first one did, pardon the word play, amazing. The second one.... not so much. A third and fourth entry were planned, which then changed to a Sinister Six movie along with a third entry, but after the second movie bombed, there just wasn't enough backing to justify making them. And while I can see your view on the CG, I just can't buy that the Lizard is actually there. He doesn't look like he's interacting with anything, his movements are too slow and clumsy for what's actually being done to the environment he's in. And, well, the flat face is real dumb looking.

Idk, his parents being indirectly responsible for his spider abilities is dumb. Him being too cool isn’t really Peter Parker. Then rehashing of green goblin was a horrible idea. Shoe horning in Harry out of no where was weak.. I like Andrew and his Spider-Man but it didn’t feel correct to me.. still want to see him return in this next film though

I love this fight a lot. Both fighters use their science backgrounds to their advantage. Lizard uses chemistry while Spider uses biology. Peter even fights like a spider. The ceiling fight, even though it's brief, is super cool. It's not as cool as when Spider-Man and Doc Ock fought on the train, but it's still cool nonetheless. They're both also using their own biological advantages against each other too. Connors is using his greater size and tail to overwhelm Peter, while Peter is using his smaller size and agility to outmaneuver Connors. It really shows that both fighters are actually thinking while fighting because the two really are very smart combatants at the end of the day. They're scientists and they know what they're doing in the long run when it comes to fights. Peter even integrates some physics into his fights by acknowledging how much leverage he has to work with to keep hitting Connors as well. The best part is when Peter is constantly trying to only restrain and talk down Connors. It really shows that he sees his adversaries as people. Something that he ultimately carried over across the multiverse and into _No Way Home._ Sure, he was bitter at the time, but even at his worst, he always saw the people he fought as *_people._* Though, there's a moment of hurt when Peter gets Gwen out of the building. No wonder he went for the webline in the second movie. He did it before, and then when he tried again, it ultimately didn't work.
