@@ktermalkut8332 You are unjustifiably just as arrogant as the guy you are responding to. He thinks he knows the truth by labeling God, faith and religion as magical, ignorance or nonsensical. You, on the opposite spectrum, also falsely claim you know the truth or know how one can receive the truth by new revelation! Isn't that make every man a prophet? Have you received the truth? A special pleading for every man? It is one thing for a believer to base his faith on existing scriptures, as this Rabi does time and again! @@hassanzaylai4491 hassan I have PROOF of my PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with The ONLY LIVING GOD - something that is totally alien to a muslim who thinks it is blasphemy to even consider that Allah can be their father or their teacher or that his son is EQUAL to him and is the ETERNAL Redeemer of all humanity. A basic principle in the spiritual or unseen realm is that a person receives what they believe. So if a person is bound by fear satan is their god and he comes to KILL STEAL DESTROY - he can do nothing else because that is how he is wired - John 10:10. I am very familiar with all religions and my best friend in my native country was a muslim. We were also culturally connected to the occult so we understood many things about the spiritual realm and the realm of spiritual evil and destruction than those in the west. I live in DIVINE HEALTH and have control over my circumstances because those who are BORN AGAIN OF THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD are just like The LORD JESUS CHRIST Who is ONE with The FATHER GOD as GOD is ONE. We are as HE IS ON THIS EARTH - 1John 4:17, Hebrews 2:11. If you know my life you will ZIP IN A HURRY! I walk in supernatural miracles on a daily basis because satan/the enemy is under our feet. We know OUR GOD Who has made us EQUAL TO HIM. We don't claim what we have not been given by The LORD GOD. We are humble before HIM and HE Leads us and Guides us and we are never in want - Psalm 1. I came to the US on a scholarship sponsored by the World Bank through my government but was on the opposite side in my political views and they did everything at the highest levels including the chief justice to stop my scholarship. The government unexpectedly changed a month before I was to join my post grad law program in the US, and they told me to leave the country and gave me my finances. No one thought I would succeed. That is the POWER OF THE LIVING GOD of The JEWS and all creation. It is NOT ABOUT ANY RELIGION and I do not identify as a christian or with any religion. Sadly the Jews REJECTED their REDEEMER on a national level and have yet to claim their rightful inheritance!

In the psalms written by King David, you find a man who is in constant conflict, pleading for Gd to help him, why his enemies are stronger than him. they surround him on every side, lay traps for his soul, breathe out cruel hatred against him. Most of us never faced such conflict, so its hard to relate. Those that have, understand and realize their helplessness. those that don't, haven't seen. King David was a man of faith, his confidence was in Gd, in the face of all difficultly. That's what Paul is talking about. This is no convoluted assumption, its in your bible. Jesus turned death into the womb of life, his death allows us to inherit his life, containing all the properties of redemption, designed for humanity. His resurrection allowed him to legally inherit from Gd the Adamic estate, in which we all are born into. *The whole promise is based on inheritance. that means someone has to die, in order for the heir to inherit the estate.* Adam died to Gd, Jesus rose from the dead and was restored to Gd, in that Jesus died we are entitled to co-inherit, with him. through faith in him. Moses shows us in his writings by the hand of Jacob, from the womb, the heir of the promise, comes to take the birth rite from fallen man, and in Zarah we see from the womb, by his bound hand, he comes to make away for his brother to inherit the promise, that is exactly what Jesus did, at the cross, by his bound hands. then he comes afterwards.

It's hard to argue with the Church tampering and corruptions of the ACTUAL Hebrew text when it lifts and uses multiple verses from Hebrew Scripture as it attempts to put it in service to the New theology in the form of, 'fulfillment citations'. That's because the nature of apologetics is not to provide a reason for believe. It is a piked wall meant to keep believers in and unbelievers out. No one who is a Christian proclaims such because of the "Kalam" argument or because of alleged evidence for intelligent design. The causative reason for believe is indoctrinational, or highly emotional and spiritual PERSONAL experiences. You can easily get most believers to agree that an atheist convert would not be truly a convert if they believed solely on apologetics. It needs to be a personal experience, a subjectively experienced "Truth".

Rabbi Tovia Singer is the most knowledgeable religious authority i have seen! He saved my life by showing me from Torah I was right! Christianity is WRONG! I KNEW it wa wrong but I didn't know why. Imagine it being something so simple as this (i never even considered it) translations were completely wrong and I had been lied to! Bamboozled and tricked!! It would be so easy to be angry and I was for a long time. I'm not even angry about it anymore I'm just thankful that I came to the knowledge of the truth and I am thankful that I found Rabbi singer. I had already accepted that Christianity was a fraud and accepted Judaism on faith when I began following him a little over a year ago. What I heard him speak (and he gave the correct translations to the passages that I couldn't understand why they didn't make sense) it was something like the sky opened up, the clouds disappeared and the sun came out!! I saw the truth and I UNDERSTOOD! I learned more IN 1 month than in Christianity in decades!! I wish I found Rabbi singer decades ago. SO mugh time wasted

I have been following a beloved Livestream for several years that I absolutely love, but more recently there is a pervasive trend toward Christian rhetoric and perspective. I can't help but feel heavy eye rolls arive everytime the Christer references begin. I have studied Comparative Religion for my entire life, I've considered myself a Christian in the past for many years, I have read the Bible KJV cover to cover twice and have studied it intensely since I was 13 years old, I'll be 45 at the end of this month. As an American I deeply support and encourage people to believe as they will, but knowing what I have learned from years of study, it is befuttling to me how people can come to see the Bible as not clearly and obviously written by men for the interests of men. Whether it's the very first page of the Bible being conveniently interpreted as days meaning "long unspecified eras of time" in order to fit modern evolutionary reality, or vast portions of old testament laws being overlooked, like the clear ban on homosexual relationships, or showing the priests the bloody sheets from popping your virgin wife's hymen in Deuteronomy, the Bible is so archaic, so bizarre, and so reminiscent of ancient thinking and beliefs. The very first statement of our nation's quintessential creedo, The Bill of Rights, absolutely unambiguously articulates that Religious laws cannot be passed as social legislation, yet we hear with consistency how we live in a "Christian nation." It's nonsense and the people that make such claims clearly know little to nothing about the beliefs of the founders of this country. It's not recently that I have become aware of the atrocities committed in what I call "the accursed desert," namely the middle east, but it is seemingly recently that I have seen so many people begin to speak out against it with unapologetic candor. It has been refreshing to hear. Correct me if I am wrong, but Paul never met Jesus Christ aside from an experience that only he witnessed? Am I wrong in that Paul was what we today would call a "serial killer" before suddenly changing his name? It's just so powerfully odd to me that this Jew God never speaks to people who aren't living in caves, eating insects, or commiting atrocities. It's amazingly convenient to justify confirmation bias. Thank you for your channel and fresh and honest perspective. It has been excellent hearing thoughtful guests and scholars speak openly about inconvenient facts and realities that go so overlooked by so many.

That is too funny. So let's start with a premise that I agree with. Michael Brown is a slick fast talker. He's also a very bad faith actor. He has the full footage of his debate with Rabbi Singer and yet refuses to post it. He posts the edited portion that makes him look better than he actually is. If you have to convince yourself that Michael Brown doesn't actually believe what he says why don't you take a look at his video where he talks about Isaiah 7:14 about how the prophecy skipped lol. The worst thing about Brown is he understands Hebrew and he still takes this idolatrous stance. But once again, if you want to have some fun, watch Michael Brown speak in tongues lol what a charlatan. He is a great debator no doubt. Throws versus left and right and center. But if you stop and read the verses you are struck with one thing. They don't say what he says they say. And that makes him a bad faith actor.

My fellow Christians would do well to watch interviews like these and realize how our typical apologetic posturing is an offense to the mind and the heart. In particular, that atheists, Jews, etc. are being irrational in their rejection of our claims and the Bible. They are not, or at least no more or less than we are, like humanity at large is, etc. You can certainly disagree with the non-believer on whatever, but to say that they are not taking the Bible seriously is so obviously not true when you watch interviews like this one, or the debates that happen in this space. In many ways, non-believers in scholarly spaces are taking the Bible more seriously than your typical Christian.

Great opening of a sense of humor. If the rabbi was never a rabbi, he could have been a comedian similar to Seinfeld. If Jesus was not supposed to die for man's sins according to Paul, then why do Christians heavily rely on Isaiah 53. It's speaking out on both sides. You can't have one and then say it's the other. Even though Isaiah 53 isn't about Jesus whatsoever. I'm very happy you had rabbi Tovia Singer as your guest. I watch Tanakh Talk all the time. That's why portions of the Pauline Gospel were compiled together as the first New Testament. Yeshua was a restorationist universal message but he delivered it within the context of his own religion (which is quite magnificent). Marcion wanted to throw the entire "law" out however the truth which reality shows us is its never quite that clear. The OT was a mixed bag, tribal (as humans are) and presented as such. Christ was breaking that mold within his own faith, and then Paul was expanding that. The NT was the mixed views afterwards to try to harmonize it all but includes contradictions as many dif views are expressed. Just like the OT the NT is also...a mixed bag. Both are records of "God's " dealings and therefore valuable. God does give insight to normal ole biased humans hence the need to read all scripture with "the Spirit" which is the true compass.....not solely the text. Most peoples conscience aside from the text can get the message. The errors in conception of both texts and altering them and even understanding them incompletely is just men's bias showing thru. Can Judaism be used for worship...indeed and most powerfully. In fact they have created a system of worship that encompasses every aspect of life. Coupled with mysticism and an inner "Christ" it will be the new world religion. Kabbalistic, Gnostic, Messianic beliefs once combined with Judaism....very powerful. (and non tribal). This is why "Kabbalah" albeit misunderstood is sweeping the world in different forms. Peace.

Many are distorting the Hebrew scriptures, like Matthew. Others are describing a false prophet. "Surely there are those of you here will not taste death before the kingdom of heaven is on this earth" (paraphrased, meaning is the same)

the issue is the combination of competing views of what happened and spirituality. Some types of accepted scriptural writing encodes the lessons within a cultural story (exact detailed literalism not required), other sects has different views on "the law" and even on the representation of Jehovah (evil, neutral or "God"). Even the parts of the bible that disagree are valuable. For instance imo the understanding of Jehovah to the mind of the prophet is valuable and indicates what occurred but may not reflect responsibility or the heart of God or the context is misunderstood. Why..because its a mixed bag, but still a sacred one. For instance someone can choose to use the law and Kabbalah very effectively within Christianity by choice...not forced and choose the law within a new modern context directed by the Holy Ghost within. Churches hate this with a passion because then each individual grows in their understanding and gosh forbid, can disagree with each other or their "pastor". Balancing all this is a real task and one that religion is being forced to go thru (by information destroying "literalism"). The intent of the heart (fruit) is what justifies a path..not knowledge. You will see those who know more trying to direct by claiming "the word says this or that" and they especially fear a deep look into the word by academics because it threatens their authority (a thinking Christian..gosh forbid). Even in instances where literalism appears incorrect (of this generation who will see etc) we can find encoded spiritual information for instance Gilgul..a Jewish understanding of being reborn..so even incorrect parts within the right context (non literal) can impart great knowledge imo. The answer to all this madness...sacred things are sacred..they are not God, and the spirit within is the ultimate authority@@piouswhale

Christians are followers of Paul and his gospel. Paul never met Jesus, unless you take his word for his encounter. Paul openly murdered the followers of Christ. He had very little association with the apostles or their teachings. In his own words. Galatians 1:11 But I make known to you, brethren, the gospel that was preached by me, that is not according to man; 1:12 for NEITHER RECEIVED I IT FROM MAN, NOR WAS I TAUGHT IT, BUT THROUGH A REVELATION OF CHRIST. Romans 3:7 for if the truth of God has, THROUGH MY LIE, become more abundant for his glory, why am I still judged as a sinner? 2 Corinthians 12:16... I am crafty, and caught you all by trickery Acts 12:23 and behold the hand of the LORD is upon thee, and thou SHALT BE BLIND, not seeing the sun for a season. Jesus healed the blind, while Paul caused a guy to go blind. Acts 20:9 and a young man... who sat in a window... as Paul discoursed...fell down from the third story, and was taken up dead🤔 20:10 but Paul went down, and fell upon him and embracing him said: be not troubled; for his life is in him. 20:12 and they broughtthe young man alive.(WOW, a convenient death, and resurrection "miracle" at the hands of Paul) Acts 22:3... being a zealot for God, as all of you are this day, Acts 22:24 I persecuted this way even to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women Acts 20:26 I solemnly affirm to you this day that I am clean from the blood of all. 1 Corinthians 9:20 I became to the Jews as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews, to those under law as under law, NOT BEING MYSELF UNDER LAW, that I might gain these under law. 9:21 to those without law, as without law, not being without law to God, but under law to Christ, that I might gain those without law. 9:22 to the weak I became weak, that I might gain the weak: TO ALL I BECAME ALL THINGS, THAT BY ALL MEANS, I might save some. 20:23 AND ALL THINGS I DO FOR THE SAKE OF THE GOSPEL. Romans 3:7 for if the "truth" of God has, THROUGH MY LIE, become more abundant for his glory, why am I still judged a sinner? 2 Corinthians 12:16 NEVERTHELESS, I AM CRAFTY, AND CAUGHT YOU ALL BY TRICKERY The guy is admittedly a murderer, liar, deceiver, telling people what they want to hear, causing harm to others, clean of the blood of any wrong doing, while preaching to everyone that are going to reap what they sow. Claiming his gospel is inspired by God, and not by those who were personally with Christ on a daily basis. PAUL'S GOSPEL John 5:28The hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice. 5:29 and shall come forth, they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of death Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall wake, some to everlasting life, some to everlasting contempt. 2 Peter 3:4 where is the promise of his coming? Since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were. I Thesolonians 4:13 concerning them which are asleep 4:14 even so also them which sleep in christ. 4:15 WE WHICH ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN UNTO THE COMING OF THE LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep 4:16 and the dead in Christ shall rise first. CANNIBALISM FOR IMMORTALITY John 6:53 Jesus said.. Except ye eat the flesh of the son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day. 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. CHILD SACRIFICE FOR IMMORTALITY John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Romans 3:25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of the blood-to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness.😂 HERE'S YOUR FAILED PROPHECY Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, THERE ARE SOME STANDING HERE, WHICH SHALL NOT TASTE DEATH, TILL THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN HIS KINGDOM. Rabbi cites I Thessalonians to show how terrible Paul was by speaking poorly of the Jews, and then concluding that Paul is in some way responsible for Jewish persecution through history? Similarly, in Part #1 of this interview, the Rabbi snaps, "You wouldn't want to sit down with Paul for a meal or drink," implying he was simply a horrible person! But when you look at I Thessalonians you find only one reference to the Jews, in I Thessalonians 2:14: "For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea (Israel), for you also endured the same sufferings at the hands of your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews." In this verse Paul is acknowledging that the Thessalonians in Greece have endured suffering for their Christian faith from their countrymen (Greeks/Romans), just as Christians in Israel have suffered oppression from the Jews in Israel. Paul's purpose here is not to demonize Jews, but to encourage the Thessalonians that they are not alone in their suffering. In fact, Paul even admonishes them to love ALL people, in spite of their suffering, which would include the Greeks and Jews. In I Thessalonians 3:12-13: "...and may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, AND FOR ALL PEOPLE, just as we also do for you; so that He may establish your hearts without blame in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints." These versus do not sound like an admonishment to persecute Jews, but rather a call to Love them!

This is correct. In fact, Paul of Tarsus was himself the little horn of the beast and fulfills all tenets of the biblical antichrist. The sea beast is leviathan in Psalm 74:14 his deadly head wound. Then he makes a covenant with us in Job 41:4, he speaks soft words. Leviathan is obviously not a talking sea serpent. In Galatians 4:14 he becomes the thorn of Satan in Paul's flesh named Jesus Christ. Notice the perfection of the numbers in the verses. Then Galatians 3:13 Christ becomes the curse, Hosea 13:4 he is the only savior, Hosea 13:7-8 he becomes the lion leopard bear beast of revelation 13:1-8. Again notice the perfect match in numbers.

At 20:00 when he speaks of Paul "misappropriating" Hosea, Rabbi Singer does not show an understanding of the practice of pesher among many Jews in Paul's time. They were frequently reading mystery meanings relevant to their own times into the old texts, often seeing them as "dual" prophecies that were relevant in both time periods. No doubt the rabbi disapproves of the practice of pesher by anyone, but to hold Paul as uniquely dishonest for doing it is unwarranted

12:44 many scholars believe that 1 Thessalonians 2:14-16 is an interpolation. Where else does Paul blame "the Jews" for crucifying Jesus? Elsewhere, he blames _"ton archonton tou aionos,"_ "the rulers of this age." (1 Cor 2:8) that doesn't sound like anyone Jewish to me. I don't think people would be talking about Jews like that until way later 🤷 EDIT: 1 Ths 2:16 even says the "judgment" has come upon "the Jews" in full! Does that sound like something that could have been written before 70 AD? Paul also talks several times about God's desire to "save" Jewish people as well!

IT’S NOT WHO WAS RIGHT or WRONG but rather PERSPECTIVE ! from Judaism , Christianity and Islam and their respective prophets and sages , each through different times and mentalities but like a Grand Puzzle 🧩 put together for the knowledge of the human being and about the human being , example : Judaism (laws and state affairs) Christianity (Alpha,Beta and reincarnation purposes and spiritual insights) while Islam is the opposite directional teaching to complete all ( Jews from Apes 🦍 and Pigs 🐖 or the Human evolution , Allah did not kill or sacrificed Jesus but it was made to appear to them the Jews) .. they all fit like a puzzle through our evolutionary process and though our ages from the Bronze Age to the Roman Times and finally Muhammedan epoch and when combined and analyze is really talking and explaining the process and hopeful and concept that of REINCARNATION…our EGOS do not like to die or lose and want to keep striving .. no matter how painful life is the hopefulness of reincarnation IS the ABRAHAMIC FAITHS combines and Paul is but a glimpse and or walk to the GREAT concept and idea of reincarnation. : I became like everybody to know what everybody else feels and wishes for and perceives .. in short Paul wanted to reincarnate and wanted people to do so as well so as to REALLY LIVE a FULFILLED LIFE .. ONLY when we know what others feel we live a fulfilled life ! But literally !

He was accused of having a "unclean pneuma" and unclean means "uncleansed" and that in the ceremonial sense (Mk 3:30).There is a distinction being made between unclean pneuma and 'demons' in the gospels and acts etc. Demons are directly antiquated with "devils" (Mk 1:32). Being possessed of devils and having and unclean spirit are two different things.

While Rabbi Singer is correct at 13:20 that no scholar disputes that 1 Thessalonians was written by Paul, many scholars argue that the antisemitic verses 1 Thess. 2:14-16 are an interpolation. This is in accord with Derek's question about whether it was later Christians who twisted Paul's views. Apparently Rabbi Singer has no clue about this.

I definitely believe that the NT is Hellenized Jewish narrative which perhaps was picked up by the Greeks, but even the Prophets of the Old Testament are Rabbinical, contradicting the Torah, and giving us a very one-sided story favoring Judeans when there is a smaller community who live in the West Bank who are The Samaritans and they are part of the original Kingdom of Israel. No one seems to pay attention to the Samaritans, whose only Scriptures are the Torah (they reject the prophets).

The Rabbi states that because Jesus "paid the price" (spilled blood) for our sins that the Christian God is not merciful, implying salvation or getting right with God doesn't require such a sacrifice in the Jewish tradition. However, he fails to mention that in the Hebrew Bible the Jews are commanded to make regular "animal sacrifices" (spilled blood) as sin offerings and show loyalty to God (Leviticus 16). These sacrifices were performed by priests in the Temple in Jerusalem, but were stopped not by the command of God, but because the Romans destroyed the temple in 70AD? Why did they stop? So "paying the price," or blood sacrifice to take away sin is relevant to both the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Bible. His example of someone else paying your parking ticket being in some way lacking in mercy is easily refuted by understanding that that person who paid the price to atone for the sins of Christians was God himself! In John 1:1 the book starts by saying, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God!" Then John 1:14 states, "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth." So God was merciful, taking sin upon HIMSELF!

I've discovered something about Romans 1, 1-17 that puts a very different light on the beliefs and teachings of Paul. I've been posting it around on KZfaq and elsewhere ... and getting next to no responses. I'm hoping for a response here. Now folks ... put on your thinking caps and consider this: If the references to Jesus are REMOVED from the Greek text of these verses one is left with a text that on examination is found to be carefully structured. In this text the word God is used 8 times. In each instance the first letter of the word God, or the first letter of its definite article when it has one, is an even number of letters from the beginning of the text. If these first letters are totaled and divided by 8 one gets the first letter of the word in the text that translated as "the present moment". Combine this curious fact with the curious fact the IESOUS CHRISTOS anagrams to OSIRIS SET CHOUS (Chous, "A measure of capacity equal to 12 cups") and that SIMWN PETROS anagrams to MORTWS PENIS (Latin: Mortuus penis, "Dead penis"). Have I got your attention? Paul, called to be an apostle having been set apart to the gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through the prophets of Him in the Scriptures Holy. To all those being in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God the Father of us. First indeed, I thank the God of me for all of you, because the faith of you is being proclaimed in all the world. Now my witness is God, whom I serve in the spirit of me how unceasingly mention of you I make, always upon the prayers of me imploring, if perhaps now at last I will make a prosperous journey by the will of God, to come to you. Someone interpolated Jesus into the text of Romans ... all the way through.

Someone interpolated the _entire text_ of Romans. We know who, for all but a few fragments. We are not sure who interpolated the whole rest of the book, but it had a lot of hands in.

Jordanpeters- Did you discover this all on your own? If I may ask, which Greek text are you using for this? There are several and they don't match. UBS? WH? TR? Byz? MGNT? I don't discount out of hand anything that anyone says as I've discovered very very strange things myself. Would be interesting to hear what text family you're using for this and whether this is your own finding. Thanks.

@ewChild I used the Nestle-Aland text (the one from the early 1900s, not the latest one ... which is slightly different). There's more "structure" in the text than just the "God calculations". If verse 11 is moved to follow verse 15 (which doesn't effect the "God" calculations) then the text is found to consist of 4 sections each of 51 words. (Verse 11 has been flagged by scholars as possibly "out of place"). Mark also has 51 word sections in it. Chap 1, verses 3-5, has 51 words. verses 6-8 has 51 words, verses 9-11 has 52 words ... but if Nazareth is removed so that it agrees with Matthew (i.e. reads: "Jesus came from Galilee") then it also has 51 words. Things now get complicated because a lot of text has been interpolated into the original ... which was approximately half the size of what we have today. I''m still working on isolating the 51 word sections. I also see evidence that the text was damaged at some point and incorrectly reassembled. Despite being an atheist I do feel like I'm being "guided" to make these discoveries ... which are "all my own work". As for the crucifixion ... I've extracted a 51 word section that has Simon of Cyrene on the cross ... not Jesus. As the crucifixion happened at the "third hour" and the Jewish day began at dusk the Jews are described ... the next morning ... as believing it was Jesus on the cross. I think the original text was the script of a play ... in which the central character, described as the King of the Jews, was not called Jesus. Whoever altered this original text was familiar with the works of Plutarch.

Since God is the creator of existence, he precedes existence. This is a contradiction. It means a consciousness is aware prior to there being anything to be aware of. If nothing exists, then there is nothing for God to be conscious of. Consciousness is consciousness of something. Before a consciousness can be self-aware, it has to be conscious of something beyond itself. The activity of consciousness consists of isolating and integrating the attributes given by reality. Only after a consciousness acquires a conceptual vocabulary from the external world can it rise to the next level and become aware that a mental process is at work. This is the crux of the matter for me. I cannot reconcile these axioms to faith in the supernatural.
