I would say his (freely admitted) anti-Trump bias makes it difficult for him to engage in current US political analysis in good faith. Hence the debate video where he is hyper-critical of Trump's statements with no charity given (calling exaggerations and hyperbole "lies") but only goes over one instance where Biden was "incorrect".

I don't think Dev is a liar, I think he's narrow minded and biased, and incapable of facing that bias. You have to zealously protect your TRADEMARK, so Nintendo can't allow random people to use their trademarks, or allow them to fall to genericide.
