It feels like I'm destined to be alone. Every time I try to connect with someone, I'm pushed further and further away from them. I keep having introspection, seeking console from peers, even from those who eject away from me. It always when I try to change up how I approach those relationships: You're too forward, you're too patient, you're too guarded. I've tried to do the opposite and it backfires yet again. I wanna keep trying, but the belief that some people are meant to be alone and die alone is starting to hold water.

Is that so wrong? It is normal to want what you seemingly can’t have. But solitude can be a pathway to many spiritual gifts. I am in the same boat as you right now and currently looking to finding peace in other places. It certainly has been hard but the world we live in is false and disillusioned. The real world is beautiful and raw and forgotten by many. I seek refuge there

@@Bazonkaz I've been alone my entire life, and at a certain point I just became tired with it. All of my friends from childhood to now are very distant to me. I can't talk about anything of my personal life, unless they become unfocused and just try to get through the conversation. The people who I thought were actually going to be at least close friends turned out to be using me. No favor left unpaid, help that I asked for flakes. November last year, I was worked like a slave at a temp construction agency for little pay. When I quit that job and my three interviews fell through, I asked to bunk at their place, denied. Now I'm back with my parents because I can't still find a job. No car, no job, dwindling funds. I'm rotting on the couch because I been in a constant stream of failures for 7 months. I just want a change of life.

@@Bazonkaz I can't subscribe to that sentiment, due to my very big issues in life. I assumedly can't tell you of it due to how disappointing it is but I know what's happening. I'm not depressed, just tired.
