I can't believe this show isn't more talked about. Can't wait to see what other projects Scott Ryan chooses to work on.

My absolute favorite thing about this show is the fact the dialogue seems so real. It is like literally watching someone’s life, it’s how people actually talk.

It absolutely is one of the best shows ever. So clean, crisp, riveting and no BS. All done in 30-35 minutes. It's addictive and its a huge shame there's only 3 seasons. :(

This is the first show I’ve found since the Office, that held my attention and always had me wanting more. I prefer comedies, but this show is simply amazing. Easily the best non-comedy show I’ve ever seen. I just wish we could have more seasons.

Yes. Genius TV. Absolutely perfectly written, expertly directed and paced. And, despite being terribly disappointed that there will not be more following the ending of Season 3 I have to say Scott Ryan wrote and performed a perfectly satisfying ending to his tale.

Though not completely explained re Ray's animosity (violent childhood) towards his father the episodes whenever he appears are a master-class in understated acting. Ray's brother Bruce beautifully played by Nicholas Cassim and his love for his niece is palpable. Just a remarkable TV show. Also, how great are the EDgerton bros❓‼️

I love the chemistry between Ray & the guy Dave that was hired to kill him. That’s a comical duo “a blokey bloke name” lol & the old “nothing personal” love how Dave gets passed Ray killing his mate vinnie although I wish Ray had never taken that job. Vinnie was a cool dude “see you in your dreams” hurt my heart a wee bit!

I’m not sure what country you are in but this series has been given plenty of attention here in Oz and also in the US. This is about a man who is innately good but does some very bad things then often times, feels guilty about it, unless of course the person at the other end of his gun/fist/foot deserves it. He’s a complex, honest, man with a big heart. If you like dry, Aussie humour then you will love this. It’s a brilliantly written series that will literally make you laugh and cry but it’s way too short. So sad they only did 3 seasons but the writer who also plays main character, Ray Shoesmith, wanted to move onto other things. The end scene of the series finale is truly satisfying too 😈❤️

I love this show. I know a guy who was not as wild as Ray & I was similar yet more of a smarter version of his friend Gaz. My friend similar to Ray actually went to prison briefly in the early 2000's but he had no daughter. Not incriminating anyone but there were some bad moments. The show is way over the top. The show itself is wonderful, his daughter is wonderful & the kind of kid any reformed crim would cherish to have along with a love interest of Brooke Satchwell (a crush of mine from Neighbours in the 90's who seems to age incredibly gracefully. She's 42 and looks like she's 30) she was also amazing in this. All the actors along the way were stellar. This whole thing was masterfully done. "Santa's not real ? so where do presents come from ?" .... "I buy'em" hahaha whatta sik'kent :)

I don’t remember how I found the show, maybe a clip came up randomly on my KZfaq home but I loved the show and wish there were more. The only fault I had and it’s a very small one, was Ray’s dog. Im a dog owner and I know a dog involves a lot more of its owner’s life than Ray’s seems to. Ray’s dog seems to come and go as needed for the story. When you own a dog it inserts itself into everything its owner does. To be realistic, Ray’s dog needs to be in at least every scene that takes place in Ray’s home.
