If it’s bothering them they need to stop watching. I think you look fine. I grew up in a Christian household(Pentecostal Jamaicans) which are the most judgmental and they live the worst life. Girl don’t let the rest of us suffer because of them. I love your blogs, they are a breath of fresh air. So excited about the bachelorette party 🎉 . So happy for you.

I don't one has to wear turtle necks etc but it is a way to dress modest but still nice. When people talk about modest the person defense seems to go extreme. I have changed the way I dress because we are represent Christ. Also it can help your partner or anyone else not to lust. I say that because you mentioned how you both are trying to wait until marriage. But clothes can help you as well. We as believers shouldn't be offended and are called to approach other believes. Take the time to review and ask yourself why do I want to show the word my stomach? Why do I want to shake my butt in a video? Does this this represent christ. Is there something in me that needs to be removed to be like Christ who calls us to be holy and righteous. I did do 180 when I got saved far as behavior and clothes because we are called to be the salt of the earth.

I was born/raised/still in the church. I remember as a kid having church members walk up to me to say I shouldn't wear pants, wear skirts above my knees, show my shoulders, etc. Now that I have my own relationship with God I realize a lot of those comments on how I should dress came from religious ritual and not Christianity. We live in Florida. It is HOT. Do you.
