As a lifelong songwriter, I can tell you that there is nothing that makes you happier than having your song recorded and rerecorded and performed in different styles for decades. Nobody is spinning in their grave. If you don't like it, that's OK, but why do you have to be so mean?

Okay, um . . . . Wow! I would not have imagined they had this in them. Very brave song choices and they rocked them. Solid all around. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised as anyone that gets it together enough for Nashville have definitely worked on their craft and honed their skills.

These people UNDERSTAND the essence and nature of this classic song. So rare among young people today. That's why they can take it, and go on with it, and take it to places it's never been, even make it a country song. And the song doesn't just survive, it thrives. Spectacular.

Having been a fan of Queen for close to 50 yrs I'm fairly certain Brian May would enjoy this take on his classic.

Those three, The Band Perry, grew up playin' in the front yard of Grand Bay Medical Clinic where their daddy was a doctor...just another dot on the map of my small hometown of Grand Bay, Alabama. After college, I decided that I'd stay close to home and my office for the last 34 years has been in Moss Point, Mississippi which is actually the community of Escatawpa, which is the hometown of the rock group Three Doors Down. When it comes to music, to grow up in such super small places as Grand Bay, Alabama with The Band Perry and work in Escatawpa, Mississippi with Three Doors Down and the two communities only being ten minute drives apart...I'd say those of us who live on the Alabama and Mississippi Gulf Coast have been quite blessed!
