If you are going to keep cutting wood on your contractor saw without using a push block, I highly recommend you buy a Saw Stop contractor saw and save yourself the cost of going to the ER. One trip pays for the cost of 5 saws and you get to keep your fingers as well.

The cedar looks great. I would put on an appropriate stain to give more weather protection but I live in Pac Northwest.

Yes you can buy replacement bits. I haven’t had to replace mine and I’ve had it for 6 years.

Just wondering, do you supply identical tape measures to all your guys? Or do you all use different brand tapes and compare markings to confirm accuracy? I've come across slight differences in length markings between different brands that I own personally. It seems it could really mess up cuts if the "caller" is giving one measurement, but the "cutter" has a different tape that might be a different measurement in actuality.

I've purchased tapes for all my guys. However, everyone has a different preference in size and readability, so we don't all have the same tape. Haven't encounter any issues yet, but something I'll watch for. Thanks!

What kind of fastener for the cedar? Are you concerned about the fastener at all reacting to the cedar even though it's not exposed to precipitation it will still have dew/fog/vapor exposure. Any thoughts on this?

Used braid nails for fastener. Not worried about exposure.
