Harold and the Purple Crayon is a book that I remember very well when i was a kid. Honestly, I think we’ll get a better understanding of what this movie will be like once a trailer drops. And it’s being directed by the co-director Ice Age films and solo director of Rio. I’m sold.

The only thing I’d critique about what you said is that they were never building up for Venom to fight Tom Holland. I believe the only reason he was in that movie was to leave a part of the symbiote for someone else to get it. Now I would absolutely love a chance to see Andrew fight this venom. His movies and the venom movies both have this darker tone that I absolutely love. So please Sony. Let Andrew fight venom and you’ll make a lot of money regardless if it’s good or not

The Harold and the Purple Crayon movie has actually been in development at Sony since 2010 as an animated film with Will Smith producing and went through development hell, personally I’m morbidly curious on the movie especially since the movie is directed by Blue Sky Studios director Carlos Saldanha in his feature live action directorial debut (hopefully it’s a better live action film directed by a Blue Sky director than Monster Trucks) and live action Garfield producer John Davis producing.

It’s not even the characters that Sony chooses to make movies about, you could take a character like Typeface and make a movie on the quality of the Dark Knight. It’s the fact Sony makes them as cash grabs to tease people that they might see Spider-Man or hear a reference rather than letting a director with a vision do their thing

I remember some enjoyed that cartoon chalk zone as a kid,would like see that in live action then Harold and the purple crayon. If it was a child with a grown up voice like "look who's talking" it would have been big. It's actually one of my fav comedy movies. I miss those family movies from the 90's and they could probably have made it work. Also harold is such a great story that it even had a tv show.

Honestly I was disappointed by the news of The Batman Part II's delay, but I'm sure the extra time will give Matt Reeves the chance to make this movie extra special. I'm hoping it will be the worth the wait! Also I have no clue what to expect with Venom 3 but I enjoyed the previous two so I'll definitely be checking it out when it's released!

Carlos Saldanha From Blue Sky Studios Is The One Who Made The Harold and the Purple Crayon Movie.

The only way the _Harold_ story could work is if the original Harold (from 1955) gifted the crayon to his son Harold Jr., who's now an adult in his 30s and is rediscovering or discovering for the first time, the magic of the crayon as his father is sick or something. It could be a touching, sort of early to mid 90s, family story. That's the only way I'd watch or that I think the story could work and stay faithful to the fans of the books.

Tom Hardy said that his gold medal is venom vs. Spider-Man, so I hope this title of the this being the last dance is a tease. It needs to be venom vs. Spider-Man, and then in the end, it's ethier venom vs Spider-Man and toxin or Spider-Man & venom vs toxin.

Never called much about Harold and the Purple Crayon, I grew up with Chart Zone, I thought we got a Christmas Comedy called Spirited, I can wait for the Batman Chapter 2, and I’m hoping Venom 3 is the Last One to end this Spinoff Nonsense.

I remember a big sized book about a baby rabbit ripping his pants and his mother sews him a patch and his kite gets stuck in a tree and his dad helps get it back down.
