Stage starts with a lone Metal Seal. Then few small peons coming in which followed by the second batch of Boss Wave: Angel Loris, Chickful A, and another Metal Seal.
The general strategy is to rushdown the first Metal Seal asap while you're building DPS stack to deal with Angel bosses. The faster you can eliminate them, you will have easier to manage the final Metal Seal. Socrates Cat is great here to create rushdown opportunity, either by using Weaken Summon or his inconsistent Freeze ability. Either way, it's very simple stage.
Recommended Uber/Legend Rare:
1. Critter unit or Metal Killer unit. Ex: Ultra Kaguya, Hayabusa, Paladin, Kyosaka Nanaho, etc
2. Strong sniper unit. Ex: Cats in the Cradle, Ganesha, Daliasan, Dasli, Mami Tomoe, etc

Enter new enemy: Dark Doberman! It's Sage/Black enemy. This variant has 33% chance to create Lv3 Mini-Wave. Compared to other Doberman variant, this one might look least violent. However, he gains something much more terrifying. He has Weaken ability that decrease all your unit DMG to one-quarter. He also has Omnistrike that pierces through 350, effectively removes the usual anti-Black option such as Pizza and Gridiron. And since he is part of Sage enemy, debuff effect is reduced by 70%. It makes Bombercat useless against Dark Doberman while still leaving Oda and Ultra Talent Nurse as viable option.
The premise looks good. But too bad, PONOS forgot that we already have good counter for Dark Doberman: Dark Lazer. On full Talent, she can just tank their attack non-stop. She is also immune to Weaken so her big DPS can't be reduced. Luckily, this stage doesn't use oppressing peons so you can just spam Dark Lazer until you win. Nice debut!
Recommended Uber/Legend Rare:
1. Anti-Wave Backliner. Ex: Anoobis, Akira, Deale, Shishilan, etc
2. Anti-Black with Immunity or Resistance vs Weaken. Ex: Twinstars, King Gamer, Kenshin, Keiji, Sirius, etc

02:22 - Metallic Metaverse / メタリックメタバース
Metal and Zombie stages. Other than Golden R.Ost that forces the usage of ranged critter, metal doesn't possess much threat here. The only danger you need to watch out is ZangRoo. Since they respawn faster than your Holy Blast, your lineup will be cut off occasionally. Just don't spam too much, leave enough money for ZangRoo. If you're fast enough, you might be able to save your frontline. If they perished, just build again from zero.
Recommended Uber/Legend Rare:
1. Anti-Burrowing unit. Ex: Thermae, Logistix, Bloody Jack, Spring Kalisa, Pandora, etc

Relic and Aku. It's Cone Cat and Master Uril TF checkpoint.

05:50 - Groundscraper / マイクロ高層ビル
One 150% Metal Cyclone and 3 Puffington. Kill first Puffington with IDI then kill Metal Cyclone quickly before other Puffington joins. Very easy even with default critter units.

1. Critter unit or Metal Killer unit. Ex: Ultra Kaguya, Luffalan, Hayabusa, Verbana, Paladin, etc

06:57 - Phantom Bluebird / 青き鳥の幻影
Dark Doberman stage, this time with more dangerous peons: Ultra Baa-Baa. If you have way to eliminate them quickly, like Hitman, you can just clear the stage in the same: spam Dark Lazer. Meh.

1. Anti-Black with high durability. Ex: Kenshin, Keiji, King Gamer, Sakura Motou, Musashi, etc

Hello Siluman, I would like to know your opinion about Head Rococo from Bikkuriman collab. I can't find any YTvideo of him. I think he's a solid unit, I use him often against Flt/Blk/Aln and I'm surprised no one talk about him.

iirc, his stats and debuff are not strong individually. But in same time, he is cheap and has fast cooldown. He makes good filler or disposable unit, similar to Cat Clan Heroes

I think that doge dark is the problem for you. Try to: - use LKD to kill it (if it's boosted enough) - use cyberpunk, he can clear them well too - try timing btrain to kill doge darks for extra money - use doron when 2+ doge darks stack up Also make sure that your Kai is level 50. And if you have Hanzo, he's pretty good here.

they aren't really any harder than UL, they are generally more fun stages with interesting enemy combinations

idk, maybe because i get used with starred UL difficulty but i feel most of them is not challenging and kinda forgettable. i can only count few stages that give good impression on me.

It's about the same general level of difficulty as UL, but the first boss is an absolute spike in difficulty, get a level 50 Octo at minimum if you wish to have a chance with him.

With the new sage enemies, behemoth appears to be getting forgotten and I will NOT complain. Probably why its a bit easier and more fun from what I’ve heard.
