The quest for answers has propelled us into exploration, science, and technological advancements that have dragged the prehistoric humans from caves into offices. We know more about the environment and the history of terrestrial life than ever before. And with a manned mission to a neighboring planet in the near future, we are ready to enter new territory.
But despite a vast and growing understanding of the cosmos, there are still so many things that we don’t have a clue about. Things like the existence of God and the secrets that hide in the endless blackness that surrounds us. Who are we? Who started this? Why are we here? Do we, perhaps, live in a simulation? Like many things that we simply don’t know, questions like these irritate people, as human beings tend to be restless in the face of chaos.
For some reason, we must have answers, and if we don’t, we’re willing to construct them ourselves, often based on very simplistic, incomplete ideas, or even downright nonsense. Thus we’re willing to commit philosophical suicide, just to get one more riddle out of the way. There are even wars fought, in which people die to defend their ideas, which makes it seem that, for humans, a light in the darkness of mystery is worth dying for.
Humans are on an ongoing crusade for truth, a holy war against the unknown, in pursuit of unraveling the mysteries of life. Unfortunately for us, 'mystery' will always prevail, and any attempt to understand everything will leave us confused. But what if we are okay with mystery? What if we accept, and even appreciate, that for the most part, existence will remain a mystery to us? What if we trust the unknown instead of fearing it? This video explores the beauty of what we just don’t know (philosophy of trust).

Thank you for your video. I have chronic depression and suffer from occasionally cases of extreme existential dread. I take medication and do therapy but at times I feel I MUST understand and no matter the logic I get trapped in the place of terrable analysis paralysis. You always remind me there is a beauty in this world that I can miss if I think too much, you make me feel like you are another who has been trapped there at some point and found a way out thats based on good sense and compassion . I have come to the same conclusions as most of your videos and in this one I take away what I knew before but forgot in my terror. To combat the fear of the unknown I must have faith and step into the darkness. I will not base my faith on ignorance but I still must have some. Thanks for reminding me there is beauty in that journey and thanks for the video. P.S. I especially liked the picture of the leafs covered in frost.

As long as we are not ready to accept truth we will always rationalise resistance 😔 And justify our own righteousness and our own perception 💔 I pray the power that created this universe, the energy that's within each and everyone of us, the energy that heals, the greater consciousness, i pray it guides us to the truth. A small amount of knowledge is enough to endure the unknowingness. It is to know there is an intellectual power that fashioned this world. The only common thing amongst all religions is the belief in a higher power. It must be true! This world makes no sense if there wasn't a creator. We need this beief. The belief in a higher power is the only hard-core belief that makes people hold on and endure suffering.

i'm a very curious person. i used to always ask questions, ever since i was a child. i grew up to be highly anxious, namely, it is the uncertanties are what make me anxious. this past week my anxiety has been through the roof, and uncertanties in the world are driving me crazy. i cant trust myself, cause i know i dont know everything. but i want to know everything... not because of insecurity nor cause i want to sound or seem intelligent, but because uncertanties scare me. i have a debilitating need to know things. there is an aspect of black and white in my thinking; it affects the way i see the world. for example, if i know a sum of information about a subject, but, not everything; i tend to not give my opinion about it; because "i dont know everything." basically, what i mean is, if i dont know everything about a particular matter, then i dont know anything about it. i seek information like a hyena seeking food. i'm crazy. what im trying to say is that, this video has eased my anxiety. thank you.

Most of time I allow it grow and enjoy the progress. I'm often bothered with overthinking and anxiety it brings from worrying about unknown. Through working with mental health app did I realise the day's journey is like a treasure chest I won't know the contents until open. Recently, I adopted a slow approach to making art journals instead of becoming anxious by adding stuff quickly, I'm adding little at time. Thanks for another inspiring video. I do ongoing battle with anxiety sometimes you just have to for it.

To be easy with not knowing is a gentle gait through the vale of vagaries. Ambling thus, would we not be all the more alert to the ‘nature of things’ thereby resisting deceits? Ours is a time of the worship of the golden brain, it seems. But, you nailed it in this video. Thank you.
