Жыл бұрынI am back over Gold Prospecting on New Zealand's west coast for our 2022 Decemeber Patreon catch up trip! I am joined by Nigel and two other Gold youtubers @chrispyskiwiadventures3583and @JadesAdventures22 (make sure to check out their channels if you haven't already) we walk miles up one of my favourite mining sites to find a heap of bedrock and strike some gold! We all had a blast, all found some gold and overall was an epic trip!

It definitely is, one of the richest creeks in the world this one, some other snipers have had OZ+ days here recently. Every time you break bedrock and do a crevice there are always nice flakes even visible pickers just sitting there almost everytime! It has had so much gold come out of it and will definitely try some sniping here in future! Had another trip back here more recently and we definitely got some more bigger gold for sure ;).

It is a very rich river this one aye! They are epic pieces definitely, I would have definitely called them nuggets a year ago, now somewhere in between it all depends on perspective, at the same time if I did call them nuggets I always have people having a go saying those aren’t even pickers let alone nuggets! Mate, with the ground I'm seeing in your videos, I'd be getting into sniping more. I've found sniping to be the most productive way to prospect the creeks. I reckon you will kill it sniping over there. If you want some advice on sniping just hit me up.

Cheers bro thanks heaps! It can definitely be yes, and we had our first sniping trip in our record nugget spot recently, sadly got very little gold but we think its not the best for sniping just detecting (the gold is VERY patchy just never been detected and chunky thus the insane detecting results), however after seeing the potential here from Chrispy and other prospectors definitely going to get into it a lot more in future! Video of our sniping venture will be up soon :).

I only sell it if I desperately need the money (eg buying the GPX) and just sell it to individuals. Im actually buying alluvial gold at the moment off anyone who wants to sell believe it or not 😂

@@portroyal6886 Awesome bro! Heck if they play 1/2 spot price they are literally scamming you, out right stealing. If you ever want to sell I buy fine alluvial gold at 90% of spot and chunky gold (0.1 gram+ pieces) at spot. I only have limited money so can't really do over a couple thousand at once though. (and yes you will probably be able to get much better rates then what im offering again, im just keen to buy at that rate and have had a few people sell to me).
