I think it is better to pinch the shoulder blades BEFORE you take the bar off the hooks, because with weight it is hard to pinch the shoulders once you got the weight on you already, basically hold the bar and while holding it pull on it and contract your scapulae hard then set your back back on the bench without losing tension, then take the bar off the hooks and "pull" it towards your chest as to control it better. The lifting part should be a bit more aggressive or "explosive". Good vid.

What a beautiful bench. I mean the actual bench. What do you think about the cue of finding the spot on the ceiling after un racking the bar? Great video.

Help my bench sucks, so i reached 407 dead, 350 squat but my bench is 175 pounds and my OHP is only 121 pounds. HELP

Weak scapular, do face pulls and similar type of exercises to work out your upper back.

Use a rolled-up blanket or towel... But check out Alan Thrall's bench press tutorials for arch and leg work.

And I have being doing it wrong for three years? One trainer told me my back should be flat on the bench. No open space under.

Flat back means loose muscles. You'll have a better base if you set up like tbis

I'm thinking only for the purpose stated in the name. I imagine people try it thinking it will be easier to put the bar directly over the forearm and not have the wrists cock back, creating a moment arm and power leak in the wrist. However, compression grip (or even just attentiveness to detail in the grip) takes care of that w/o the risk of the bar rolling out and dropping on your noggin.

1:57 that was NOT a good rep... Her form is wrong. she actually decreased her range of motion. She's dropping the barbell on the top of her stem's arch, when it should be at the mid Sternum. The starting strength book on page 188, figure 5-16 shows a different bar path than her's

Not a good video. You should set your shoulders and the arch BEFORE taking the bar out of the rack!. Also, the movement starts with the bar over the eyes, not over the chest. Well, with no plates in the bar you can do anything I guess
