The Bentley Bentayga Is a $299,000 Sanctuary

I recently drove a 2023 Bentley Bentayga with a coat of "Dark Cashmere" paint and a sticker price of $299,510. Come with me for the ride in this Bentayga review!
The Bentayga was one of the early entrants to the ultra-luxury SUV market when it arrived in 2015, beating out the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-Maybach GLS, and Aston Martin DBX. The Bentayga has also featured many models: the Bentayga diesel, Mulliner, Speed, W12, V8, and more. This one is a 4.0-liter V8, since Bentley's W12s will soon be discontinued to make room for V8 and V6 Hybrid production.
The only other Bentley I've driven before this one is the Bentley Continental GTC Speed Convertible, and both make me want to drive forever. They're so comfortable, especially with this Bentayga's $11,000 "airline seat specification" specification in the second row.

Those airline seats are definitely not from economy class. Great video, and what a luxurious car. Personally, I prefer sedans, with the Mulsanne being my favorite modern Bentley (sad it is gone), but the Bentayga is still very neat.

Love your approach by naming some options etc. Keep in mind that the Bentayga is built on the same platform as the VW Touareg, Audi Q7/Q8, Cayenne and Urus, while the Continental shares its platform with the Panamera. I suppose it's alright to compare this V8 Bentayga with the LR Range Rover SV and I hope you can review one soon.

First, show us the car. If you're talking about a part of the car, that's what we need to see on screen. Second, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan competes directly with the Bentayga, not the Lamborghini. The Urus competes with the Astin Martin DBX or its sibling the Porsche Cayenne. Between the RR and the Bentley, the Bentley has always been the more sporty of the two. Bentley owner drive their cars, while RR tend to prefer being chauffeured first. Both of these cars are bespoke vehicles and can be optioned to double their starting price with just about any material their owner can imagine. But while the Bentley offers super high-quality luxury material, the RR take it one step further and aims for the ultimate material available in the market. Whatever materials can't be found, they will make it for you.
