Why so pessimistic and despondent? Many people now moved from their place of birth or old places of residence, would not have even dreamnt that they will go to places and live or even become citizens of those countries if they wished. What is needed is effort, planning and patience! BEST WISHES.

My wife and I took the train in 1996- called the Glacier Express at the time - from Zermot, Switzerland to I believe Lucerne. Beautiful - first rate trip.
