just went thru hip replacemet and missed my first season in 44 yrs. picked up the ocean vibe and took it to a 3ooo finish and man thisonelooks like the perfect compliment, getting one to celebrate back to bowling in the fall i have had many vibes and my favs were the cherry and the ocean

A local bowling alley near me had these and they "upgraded" to an awful used and faded glow bowling masking unit. Some people have no taste.

Bowling balls are priced accurately. The rising costs to the manufacturers have not been passed onto the end consumer as aggressively as many other things.

What makes this so much better than the ocean and radio - active ? The ocean doesn’t have HK 22 and to me is kind of a lazy ball, not much hook potential on it. The radio-active has HK22 and seems smoother but a lot of that has to do with surface if I were to guess. Is this Arctic vibe just a different color of the same flavor ?

Arctic is basically the Radioactive with a hybrid cover instead of solid.

Coverstock, and color actually make this ball unique in the ways described in the video. The HK22 is Brunswick's magic cover that they put on just about everything. It doesn't seem to slime up much and takes in the oil.

@@insidebowling The radioactive vibe has both HK22 and pearl additives so is there really any difference? I have the radioactive vibe and im not so sure. I do really love the color on that arctic vibe though 😍

Bowling can be a difficult sport to learn. A lot of terminology and advanced concepts that are difficult to see with you eyes. It's worth it though. Welcome.

Call me boring, but if this was black and called something like the new "Onyx Vibe", then I'd buy one tomorrow. (even if it hooked one board less =)

@@NathanMoist Same, the main reason I won't buy balls with really dominant pale colours. A chap in my doubles league has the blue NU, and the track on that thing looks disgusting after just a few outings. Thorough cleaning just delays the inevitable. He can't stand to look at it either, and is constantly resurfacing it.

@@dijigo1587 I have both the radioactive vibe and the NU blue. With vibe you just gotta clean it like normally and keep it polished and it will never really look bad, otherwise you are really really lazy with ball maintenance. For the NU blue however i suggest melamin sponge often haha. You rarely wanna play with it full laneshined anyways and melamin is sort of like a 2000 pad so its gonna stay clean and nice. Problem with the NU is its the weakest coverstock i've ever seen (weak as in taking dents and scratches) out of any ball i've seen. It makes storm balls look indestructible by comparison and is by far the worst one out of all hammer balls when it comes to this.
