Do you really need to probe the bad before every single print? because this printer seems better then the KINGROON KP3S Pro which of the print faster? OK between the the longer LK4 X, Longer LK5 Pro and Kingroon kp3s pro which of them do your recommend to me? Because you used this printer for a couple of days you need to now by now which of them you prefer right? just for the auto leveling and interface I am interested in the Longer model printers.

Awesome review and great content as always! However, With the sovol sv06 at $240 (currently on sale from the $300 normal price) I think that is a better value by far. Better extruder, linear rails on X,y,and Z.

I agree 100%, what Sovol are doing to the Creality designs is unheard of, they fix the faults improve and upgrade the machines and all for less than the price of the original Creality machine, Kudos to Sovol!

Not sure why so few channels overlooked the Anycubic Kobra. It beats this printer in many aspects and is equal in some others and even costs only 260€ currently (360€ usually). The Kobra printed awesome out of the box and you won't see any difference up to 70mm/s, if you have the PLA to stick (ironically the Anycubic PLA sticks way worse than e.g. eSun PLA+). At 180mm/s you will get y-axis jumps. So far 150mm/s runs fine but the details degrade compared to 70mm/s. Again - not sure why I had to find out myself that this printer is awesome and why so few channels got that info down. Strange...

JJ - my frustration with printers is i just want it to load and go. I don't care if it takes 2 weeks to print - so long as it prints every time. My ender 5 pro - seems like i have to fiddle to get to print ... every print. i've had so many issues i don't feel i can ever trust it to successfully print. what' in your opinion the most reliable over and over printer? (reliable and easy to use - not worried about budget)

Auto Bed Leveling, and a PEI coated build plate instead of the glass bed are two really nice features that sets this above the Hornet.

can't you just save the bed mesh with an M500 after your G29? then just use M420 S1 Z10 ; to use the mesh with fade of 10

It looks like that one still doesn't have auto bed leveling, so I would probably skip it. In 2023 I wouldn't buy a new printer without some form of auto bed leveling

I think I was sent a lemon. My experience with the LK4 X is so bad I am refusing to make a video with it. I might make some shorts but I will not make a full scale video. I cant bring myself to continue wasting my time with it

Its a nice printer but I wouldnt say it was the best printer of 2022, what about the Biqu Hurrakan or the X1 Carbon? some of the Sovols deserve a honourable mention too for not just cloning the Ender series but fixing their faults and improving and upgrading them and all for less than the price of the original Creality machine, but the X1 Carbon is IMO the best printer of 2022, for a brand new company to come up with that awesome machine as their very first release is unheard of and I cant wait to see their next iteration of this machine

I think price is a really important component to any 3d printer. The X1 Carbon is probably a great printer, but at 5X the price I don't think it will give you 5X the performance. I would rather have 5 of these than one X1 Carbon. The Hurrakan is really cool to come with stock Klipper, but I don't think it's worth $400 for a pretty basic printer when you could buy this LK4 X and the BTT CM4 and still save $60 for filaments.

any time I hear. That a company sent someone a something to review. Even if its free. They usually have an affiliate link. And I end up not watching the rest. I get to make review videos it cost money. But it would be nice to see some dedicated hobbits that went and bought something from their own money. And really want to brag about it. Without any affiliate links. It makes the review sound a bit more authentic. Welp. Back to my search .

You may want to get your hands on a X1 Carbon before claiming any other printer is the best printer of the year. Bambu Lab printers are nuts

The title should be a question, and the answer is no. It may be the best for the price, but there are far better overall printers, like the Bambulabs X1-Carbon.

The X1-Carbon looks good, but is it really worth 5X the price of this printer? How would 1 X1-Carbon compete with 5 LK4 X printers. I think price is a factor when deciding what the best printer of the year is.

@@JJShankles if you're not a shill, dont make these horribly clickbaity titles. Have you taken a look at the sv06 and the Neptune 3 pro? Those are two machines much more deserving of recognition than the longer lk4. Are you just sad bambu didn't send you an x1c to test?
