As a retired counselor I am aware of one drawback to checking either your phone OR your watch during a session: both give the person you're talking to the impression there is something more important than they are. I'm sure this isn't restricted to the counseling profession.

I work in an office and everyone has a smartwatch and checks it if something comes through. In my sessions and at the doctors office they also have Apple watches so I think times are changing

I wish everybody in the planet stop buying iPhones for one year until Apple give us type c bring the headphone jack back bring the SIM card back and bring the charging brick back and change the design apple need to start listening and I think that's the only way or countries need to start bending the iPhone till they listen

@@vaporizedworld4817 Apple isn’t going to be bringing back the headphone Jack. They are set to do usb and e sim is the future. It’s less likely to cause missed texts and calls.

Since you’re a bag person like I am, I wanted to recommend the Bellroy tech kit. Perfect size, perfect number of pouches, so organized. I can carry an 87 w charger, a 10k mAh battery, an iPhone cable, usb c cable, watch cable, 30w charger, and all my other doodads and dongles in one place. I also carry their desk caddy and between those two bags, I have everything I need when I switch bags and it’s very easy to just grab two things and be ready.

On the watch battery issue. I don’t mind one day battery life. I know I have to charge it and it’s now part of my routine. If the battery lasted 2 or 3 days I feel it would be easier to forget and end up with an empty battery mid day. I wear mine to sleep and charge it in the morning while I’m getting ready for the day. I don’t need to track activity while showing and brushing my teeth.

The Apple Watch battery life thing is an easy fix. Like you said, charge it once a day. Put it on the charger like an hour or 2 before bed if you want to sleep with it on. Problem solved. Lol. Don’t see why so many people complain about something so simple.

I have used mine for sleep tracking for a while. I used to use auto sleep and now just use the built in apple sleep tracking because I saw a video showing it is actually more accurate. All I do is put my watch on its charger in the morning when I wake up. By the time I’m done showering etc. it has plenty of charge to make it through the day and night. Even if I do a workout that day.
