My husband and I adopted through foster care. We took home a baby 5 days old with drug exposure and two months later found out she had a 9yr old sister and started fostering her as well. We adopted 869 days later and they have been the biggest blessings. They are 5 and 14 now. When you said 9 might be too old to bond with, you are right it is not. She is attached to us and God saved her. She accepted Christ two years ago. The 5 yr old is clever and so so funny but the drug exposure did have lasting effects. When she was around 3 we started to see some impulsive behavior and sleep deprivation. She is in OT and feeding therapy due to impulse control and sensory needs. She is is growing and learning and just such a blessing.

They loved me like their own. I’m 64, was born in 1959 when it was hard to place brown babies. But God picked them to raise me and it turned out good as He knew it would❤

Thanks for telling us your story. I am 76 years old and have two adopted adult Children. One just turned 50 and the other one will turn 48 in a few months. We had tried to get pregnant and I lost one and then later I lost a set of twins. Then we started looking at an adoption agency. We applied for a boy I do not remember how long it took. We got a boy straight from the hospital and he was only 6 days old (Remember things were different back then and they kept them in the hospital longer.) Then we applied for another one and said we would take either a boy or a girl. We were called and asked if would take a little girl who was 1 month old and had been placed in foster care and she had had a fall and was in the hospital and we could go see her if we wanted. Of course, we went to see her and fell in love with her. We were told due to the fall she might have some health issues. She was having seizures and they put her on medication and she never had another one. She has cerebral palsy from the fall and has needed extra attention. We now had our family We have had a blessed life.

We have a very similar story and are now blessed with three biological children and two adopted! Both adoptions fell upon us and we knew the second we met them that we were their parents! You know your children when you meet them! It’s beautiful! God is great all the time!

Remarkable!! God is so good and God is always faithful! I´m happy for yall; what a blessing this beautiful little girl is. PRAYER is our super power. It´s amazing that Lettie didn´t have any withdrawal symptoms, that is sooo unusual; you KNOW that is evidence of God´s intervention. 😢I had a girl that was 7yrs old and her brother that was 4 yrs old and love them both they where live on the streets I had a friend that told the cps lady that I would take them in and I did and I had my 2 girls and son they age was 17 &14&10 and I love them them just like they where mine 🙏🏻

Interesting, feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I simply go’ogled the latest by Tilly Strankten and her Ovarian Cyst Guide and although it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish I’ve never felt so light and relaxed.

So she had pregnancy in both tubes, and in the first surgery they only found and removed one tube with embryo?
