You will find Alfajores stocked up in every cafe, bakery, restaurant and household in Peru. They come in various shapes, forms and flavours, every place has their own recipe. With so many places selling Alfajores, I’ve rounded up my TOP 3 Alfajores. These are my favourite Alfajores to eat while in Lima, Peru.

Oh Andy, incredible alfajores. Amazing. So easy to make. My mother made beautiful ones, but I never learnt how to make them.until I saw your programs. I made them for my granddaughters little party & the grownups practically ate them all. Thanks very much.

Hello dear Michelle. Yes they’re incredibly easy to make! My recipe is even easier than normal ones because there’s no need to rest the dough and I’ve got a much quicker way of making the manjar blanco. So glad you and the fam enjoyed them. That always happens when I make them for friends/family...I end up eating the majority 🥰 I would love to see a picture next time you make one of my recipes. YUMMY. Peruvian alfajores are the best. My Mom lives not far from "El Buen Gusto". We always stop there for alfajores and empanadas. Thanks for this video

Love Alfajores so much! I could eat them every single day 🥰 El Buen Gusto is amazing right?! I go there specifically for the honey Alfajores but also always end up getting their empanadas or triples on the way out!

Eating with Andy , we visited Lima Square , Cusco and then back to Miraflores.... there was a arroz con leche food cart at Kennedy Park that we still dream about lol

Ok I will add them to my list of recommendations! The flavour profile is very similar to a Turrón de Doña Pepa (I’ve got a recipe up on my channel) making the Alfajores is way easier though!
