Harry was not stripped of anything. He voluntarily resigned his honorary military positions as he was unable to fulfil the obligations of those positions from California. In the U.K. those who have resigned their commissions can no longer wear the uniform, but they can wear their medals. If you see a British officer in uniform, he or she is serving.

I am not a professional in clothing designs, but I think dark navy and black are considered mourning colors. Prince George matched his Dad's blue military uniform that he wore to the funeral.

@@blackleague212 Children are generally allowed to wear slightly lighter clothing to funerals. I wore a navy and black plaid to one at age 6. I think the plaid was pushing it, but it was muted.

Yes, dark blue is a mourning color. Infact white is also a mourning color. After King George the VI coronation, he and Queen Elizabeth, Queen mother went on a European tour but she had lost a family member and needed to be in mourning wear, so she had her royal designer Hartnell make her entire tour wardrobe in white. How about this channel do a "List" of historic royal mourning fashion, NOT pick at what current royals wore to the just 1 day buried beloved Queen!!

Oh please, give it a rest. Everyone looked smart. It wasn't a fashion show, it was a very sad funeral. Harry is not allowed to wear a military uniform anymore as he is no longer a working royal and has given up his patronages. He was only allowed to wear a uniform for the vigil with special permission from King Charles.

I read one comment that just shows how people are being played by media, in regard of an outfit Meghan wore re being ? short sleeved no it wasn't the sleeves were long but split l don't know what they are called but it was a cape like effect. Just shows how petty these comments can be and disrespectful, l could go back to stirring that's been going on since princess Margaret's time putting one up against the other.

They all looked stunning and payed tribute to the Queen! What many people don’t get is that a funeral is someone’s last event/party! And the Queens’ last journey was celebrated in the most beautiful way! To me is showed their deep respect & love! Infinite Style & Prunk for a century Event! Is it a mini/midi/full length ..is it a dress/pants and jacket.called a suit🤔 men don't really have much choices as it would mostly be a three piece suit..or cardigan/pullover or for others a tuxedo. For me🤔I would choose choose plain and simple affordable garments whether it be a loose long dress (depending on one's age) my favourite is a slacks and black is my favourite colour by the way as it wil slim me down.😃 WIth that I would just wear my 3/4 top to cover my hips showing..and whala it makes me look ten years younger 😀 I also am not into make up lipstick nor mascara so should I kiss my night in shining armour I wouldnt smudge my face. Oh yes!! About accessories like earings etc I would prefer people to see my natural beauty and not allow the glitter and my jewelry to overshadow my looks..to be natural is more beautiful than the fake appearance. I simply love the way God created me ..well🤔not every single part of my body..but you know one can't expect God to shower us with beauty and brains all in one package🤔 so ya..I would choose both if I had a choice but I know for sure when Jesus returns for me I wil be changed in a twinkling of an eye from mortality to immorality.. PRAISE GOD ~~~~~I WILL BE A NEW CREATURE ~~~~~~~ 🤗😎🙏

Why are you even discussing this?! But as you are doing, I would suggest you maybe get your facts correct. Prince Harry DIDN'T "opt" for morning dress to the funeral, he desparately wanted to wear military uniform but he was not permitted to do so as he is no longer a working royal. The fact that he was allowed to wear uniform for the vigil at his grandmother's lying in state was made as a concession and as a mark of respect for her!

Can not believe that even the Queens death did not dissuade some of the elite from behaving horribly . Everyone was grief stricken and in my humble opinion behaved royally. I for me didn’t think it was a fashion show, the queen’s leaving was were our thoughts should be. She had a great love for her family was there when they needed her, so I think respect for her last moment should be shown. Grief is hard enough so consider her for her past, present and now her future. She’s not here anymore.❤❤

The List…SHAME ON YOU! I saw the the thumbnail and title of this video and, as an Englishman, I just had to comment. The Queen’s funeral was NOT a fashion show! It’s a religious ceremony steeped in tradition that dates back over a thousand years. Now is NOT the time to be misogynistically comparing women’s appearances. They were dressed in their best black as it’s respectful to do so when attending ANYONE’S funeral!

Not everyone can afford elaborate exquisite garments ..everything we do in life is about choices. Each individual should be allowed to dress as they please. When people are using wrong motives when attending weddings or funerals with the intention of criticising then it becomes too personal. People will always have something to say whether you dress elegantly or just in a pullover with denims. So I wouldnt care who says what its just material things and one can't judge a book by it's cover.
