What is THE BEST armor in Minecraft Dungeons? In this video, I will talk about the most popular Top Tier Armor pieces in Minecraft Dungeons and which one of them is the best to use for the maximum Apocalypse Plus difficulty levels. I will show you the best Enchantments, talk about their pros and cons and of course recommend you which one I would use in certain situations. Some armor sets have more survivability than others, but are lacking damage as tradeoff. I really like to have something which is very balanced, so we are having a look at the Renegade Armor, Hero Armor, Stalwart Armor, Full Metal Armor, Wither Armor, Verdant Robe and Ember Robe which are definitely the most popular ones in the game. They can be used for tanking, speed running, dealing a lot of damage, so lets talk about all situations. Time to get real!

I think the Souldancer Robe is underrated. If you have a more soul-based gear like I do, you know that this robe is a great armor to have with the Corrupted Beacon, Soul Pendant, and the Soul Harvester!

For Redstone golems I would just spam the shadow pendant. But for bigger bosses I would use my Starless Night claymore enchanted with Void Strike, Critical Hit, and Shockwave

I love running Renegade Armour with Reckless, Final Shout and Protection with any type of unique gauntlets or a rapier. My artifacts are the Gong Of Weakining, Satchel Of Elixirs and Deathcap Mushroom.

my personal favorite in armor is the spider armor with its attack speed and life steal aura, keeps my golem alive and keeps me with quick attacks alive too, pair that with prospector and radiance and your good to take on anything as far as my experience goes... unless your charged by two ravagers.. then your just dead

Other then double cooldown generally being better then final shout since instead of having to lose health and risk death to recharge artifacts you can just have a constant iron hide and death-cap active normally and Full Metal Armor also being a solid choice I agree with everything suggested in this video.

well, double cooldown takes up 2 enchantment slots, final shout is 1, so using final shout gives you 2 other enchantment slots

Oh yay! we are excited. I’m sure I’ll comment tomorrow after we watch before bed. I scored a 168 verdant robe with maybe great enchants. I stuck in blacksmith immediately. I think I’m picking cool down, potion barrier, and I’m not sure... last slot is between final shout, gravity and one other enchant.

Hey @04AM, this is an awesome video as always! One day, I will make the ultimate build, a custom one of my own. It'll be the perfect mix of everything, and I mean everything. A build that's Tanky, high damage, speedrunning, soul, and healing/survivability. (Not including life steal bc it won't be necessary, as the survivability part will be op.) I'll let you know what items it'll include, and there's gonna be lots of swap in items as well lol.

Excellent. Very tough to find high level analysis of this game. I pretty much came to the same conclusion on my own - Wither and those three enchantments w/sometimes swapping out the amulet. I'll have to find your bow video. Personally, I don't look too hard at bows without infinity. I prefer the Explosive Crossbow family w/Growing and something else.

Same mine has prot, final shout and deflect maxed out making it a tank especially when combined with a harvester Edit forgot it was chilling instead of final shout still works well with a harvester

I also had all the robes, like that one blue robe, ember robe i just salvaged, and the verdent robe tip: just grind soggy swamp, trust me it works.

After some testing, I find these enchantment combinations to be the best for apocalypse + 20 Double Cooldown + Chilling Cooldown + Chilling + Potion Barrier Cooldown + Chilling + Snowball Double Cooldown + Potion Barrier Final Shout is good for apocalypse + 20, but I found it not as consistent as double Cooldown. You can always have your death cap and iron hide hamlet active all the time. Plus, you can use your gong very often. As for Final Shout, it’s like you need to take a risk. Sure all your artifacts are activated, but you can die easily. I still find Final Shout to be good, it’s just the cheaper route of double cooldown. Also, snowball is so fun to use on apocalypse + 20. Potion Barrier is also awesome, as it will save your life so many times!

i think using final shout with an soul healer is helpful because when you hit below 25% hp, you heal. and the soul healer will still activate even if you have an insufficient amount of souls

We loved how you finished the video. My husband and I play on Xbox one and we SHARE a screen. We cannot swap our items without getting very angry at each other! Kind of joking, but not when we play a daily trial 3! HA HA. We have to fight over space on the screen. Multiplayer cross platform is so much better (and I do speed run when I play an online game)! I used splendid robe and renegade armor with a long bow and it worked quite well or you can farm soggy cave for Double Axes, gauntlets, evocation robes, and phantom armor

Wither Armor and Titan Shroud (other than my broken af perfect roll afk verdant robe lol) My main build is Wither Armor (final shout, protection, souls bag increase), Truthseeker (critical, anima conduit, sharpness), Harp Bow (infinity, multishot, tempo theft), mushroom, lightning rod, soul healer. Strong af. I also have a dynamo hawkbrand and dynamo harp bow if you wanna go for oneshotting bosses.

I like harder hitting weapons like soul knives and claymores. My personal favourites would have to be the starless night and the eternal knife. I do like rapiers and sickles though. So far spider armour is my favourite armour and either the harp crossbow or the nocturnal bow are my favourite bows

Would hero’s armor refreshment on melee and potion barrier be good? And also if you have refreshment on a bow but kill something with a melee does the refreshment enchant still work or does it have to be in the weapon used

in order for refreshment to work you have to kill a mob with said weapon with refreshment. shockwave will not work neither will torment and firework arrows.

I am collecting runes for defeating Mooshroom Monstrosity. I have a Soul Robe with health of 164 and a Claymore with attack damage of 60-127 and a Soul Crossbow with damage of 97 Ranged and It is Unique. I have 3 Artifacts. Corrupted Beacon, Soul Harvester and An Updraft Tome.

+6% life steal aura is not bad, but IMO soul build needs to have anima conduit enchantment. It's kind of hard to find the balance of dps and getting more soul (opting for soul gears or artifacts) as melee. I find it easier to use ranged character for soul build. When playing as a melee character on a hard map, I prefer Hero Armor with Potion Barrier / Deflect / Chilling for greater chance of survival because of the 40% faster potion cooldown + potion barrier enchantment level 3 combo.

by the way, you can still get the hungry horror or any special event item by completing the tower, this comes from experience. Although it takes an insane amount of time and effort, you can still get it.

I have been grinding for what seems like a decade for the perfect wither armor, and fighters bindings and I can't even find a piece of either (Ive been grinding obsidian chests and gold chests on the maps where you can find both).

The problem is, that I dont have the time to swap armor, when I need to. And there is one armor build that could be even stronger, it is a cooldown reduction armor with triple cooldown reduction and 3 satchels of elements or updraft tomes.

The war robe has minus 40% cooldown so you only need one extra cooldown to spam deathcap mushroom and it already 30% damage boost

The most fun I have is with a bow with infinity and firework arrows so satisfying to shoot multiple firework arrows in a row

Hahaha! Give the guy a break! but yes, bows are tricky. I save more than any other drop, only because I know I’m not utilizing properly.

I just started playing minecraft dungeons and was playing on default difficulty and the unique wither armor dropped and I dont know if thats very rare but its my first set of unique armor.
