This is a question many of you guys keps asking and today I thought it was a good moment to talk about it: Here is my take on THE BEST melee weapon in the game and performance on max Apocalypse Plus

Glad to see people are still playing this game, just got it, I'm starting to think it is more fun than regular Minecraft!

Cursed axe is the best for clearing groups of mobs since the built in exploding stops mobs from respawning

The Resolute Tempest Knife is good for taking out bosses or mobs with high health fastly because it increases damage to wounded mobs

Honestly I really like the Freezing Foil (Unique rapier that freezes mobs on hit) ever since I saw it in action, then one day I got a gilded one with built-in exploding, radiance, and void strike. The third perk I swapped out for Thundering with the Enchantsmith and I have Lightning Focus on my current armor so that works out really well. Thundering pre-damages enemies before they can get close, the freezing perk keeps them from getting close (as well as that final attack) and also slowing down Creeper detonation so that is fun if you're fighting one of them, and exploding is great and very satisfying when you kill a large slime. Only problem here being the area, so if something is coming from behind you are powerless to stop it unless Thundering procs enough.

Exploding is hands down the best enchantment to increase overall damage. Mobs health is just way more than the damage we have, which is why cursed axe, despite it's built-in enchantment of exploding, is not as good damage wise. Also, if you are using swirling on fighters binding or any double axe in Apoc+20, you are pretty much toast when melee mobs have heal allies enchantment.

I love every weapon LOL its everything combat and weapon wise I wanted to have fun with in normal minecraft. Battle axes, war hammers, daggers, swords, whips, a variety of awesome bows and cross bows. The best looking armor I've seen in a long while I'd just love to have wither armor or wolf armor in normal minecraft. If they added this stuff to minecraft I'd honestly have way more fun it's just so good here. And I'd love more weapon options in minecraft because I love COMBAT

Death cap mushroom Auto crossbow acceleration radiance shot is may favorite weapon because it doesn’t matter the dps as long as you have arrows because you can heal anything

I'm rocking spider armor with fighters bindings and u can just throw urself at masses of enemies and clear em all with swirling while getting absurd healing trough spider armor and radiance, love that bild

I like gravity on my Fighters bindings because it's constantly stunning them because it's pulling them in all the time and pulling them into range so you can hit them easier.

No love for the battlestaff of terror? I run with crit, radiance and gravity. Massive hits on combo, fast, decent AOE, exploding as standard - suck em in and blow em up. It's an amazing all rounder; good for clearing and bosses alike.

Comparing critical versus thundering for fighter’s bindings, critical works out to be 35% more damage-4,046 rather than 2999 using the stats shown in the video-but with Lightning Focus enchantment on your armor, thundering will now do more: 5,247, or now the bindings doing 30% more damage.

I've done soggy cave a thousand times and not a single f***ing fighters binding.

Anything above Apoc +10 needs Guarding Strike on it. For fighters bindings swirl, gravity, stunning is one of the best combos when paired with leeching armor.

I made an op crowd controller crossbow with void strike, accelerate, and refreshment. Not only does it destroy clumps of mobs, if you get the chain reaction, it will pretty much instantly charge your health pot.

For fighters binding I like to use critical hit, sharpness and committed or replace sharpness with swirling, Shockwave

I use the fighter's bindings with radiance shockwave and void touch, its increduble with artifacf or armor who give melee speed boost or the armor like wither armor for the regeneration and its really good for destroy group of mobs or mini boss like redstone golem.

i really love fighters bindings, tho its short range is really a problem sometimes

the first time i got a resolute tempest knife it came with all the perfect enchants. the enchants are radiance, swirling, and critical hit

Cursed Axe with Swirling and Critical Strike is mt current favorite for clearing mobs. Keeps them from re-spawning too.

I love to use the master catana in combination with the mushroom artefact

My absolute favourite melee weapon is the dancers sword. Looks really cool in my opinion and reminds me of fighting like darth maul xD

My recommendations for weapons, aside from the ones here, are battle staff of terror, whispering spear, and flail

I did some math on some fighters bindings power 150 and compared radiance/swirling/critical hit and radiance/swirling/shockwave. The ra/sw/sh did the most damage on average, dealing 7478.25 on average per hit. While the ra/sw/cr dealt 6855.15 damage on average per hit. Considering that the shockwave enchantment not only deals more damage but is also aoe, the ra/sw/sh is the best combination.

I got fighters bindings yesterday literally after I gave up on it and decided to go for a soul build and now it has swirling radiance and radiance again

Well whirlwind has Swirling built in, and shockwave. So it has two of in my opinion the four best enchants in the game. (Critical hit, swirling, shockwave, radiance) I like them all tho

I think that glaives are very good in general, it has a bit of AoE, isn't that slow, and has great power. It also has very nice range, allowing people to play it safe

i love the gravity hammer with lightning enchantment and sharpness enchantment and fire aspect enchantment

the soul knife family is very versatile and have high damage and with swirling are insane

On my fighters bindings, i only have: shockwave and infuriated. With an armor with 25% more Attack Speed, and as One of the manufacts the death cap mushroom. Is It a good build?

Sheer daggers are easy to get fighters binddings and it works with melee speed bonus

I have two fighters bindings,one with Crit,swirling,And the one that you heal when you kill a mob And the another one with radiance,swirling and shockwave on the same slot,and the lightining strike one I use the second one lol

On fighters binding you can put shockwave and every time u use the weapon it will always use shockwave with no percent chance to do it

In my opinion having gravity on the fighters bindings is a better idea than swirling due to its low area so if your bringing them in closer your gonna be able to kill them easier but isn't good for bosses

This is perfect I literally just got a Whirlwind with all those enchantments.

I use to use tempest knife on lower apocalypse + difficulties but in higher apocalypse + fighters bindings have high damage so it is insane especially with cowardice

I got a guilded cursed axe with void, radiance, CRIT and anima conduit. It consistently gets radiance to activate and always hits for way more damage because of souls and crit and if it doesn’t kill in the first shot which is very rare it GURANTEED kills in the second with void

Imo the swords (hawkbrand diamond sword) are great with pretty good speed, good power and ok area but with the right enchants are very powerful

i like fighter bindings but i sold it because there was a weapon with 3 enchantments and not 2 and they were good enchantments so now i'm trying to get fighter bindings with 3 enchantments that are good

My Best combo to kill boss is: hitting the boss with void strike, then use gong artifact, then use a bow that have a multiple charge attack. It deals 5m damage for me.

For me it's curse axe, fighters binding, whirlwind axe, and broadsword (I like to play heavyweight)

Since it's been a lot of new stuff your best bet for weapon is to make sure it has void strike pain cycle an ambush on apocalypse 25 i hit anywhere between 52 million to 63 million a hit

I like the chill gale knife i think that's the name i got it from beating the tower

I have a few good weapons like growing staff with crit sharpness weakling or leeching and the Terror version witch does the same thing as the cured axe that it explodes terror staff with crit sharpness committied

My personal favorite weapons right now are: Cursed Axe, Bone Cudgel, Frost Scythe...and Diamond Pickaxe. The reason I switched from whirlwind to cursed axe was because of leeching and explosion. Swirling and shockwave can prevent leeching and explosion from working and it would sometimes make my situation more difficult. With cursed axe I don't have to worry about those problems and can instead use sharpness. The Bone Cudgel just does so much damage and covers a HUGE area for it that it is a force to be reckoned with when paired with a death cap mushroom. The Frost Scythe might sound like a weird choice, but when you enchant it with Leeching, Critical hit and Enigma Resonator it is a beast of a weapon! Critical Hit and Enigma Resonator together give you a very constant chance of landing a regular critical hit. They even give you a chance to land what I call a Super Critical Hit, which is when their effects multiply together to do 9 times the damage! But...why the Pickaxe? From the little that I've read, it seems the pickaxe is not very popular, but I tested it and the results were very pleasing. Because it is a single hit weapon it lands Swirling and Shockwave pretty often, and when combined with a death cap muschropm it just does insane amounts of damage! I tested it with those two enchantments plus Critical hit and the results definitely pleased me. I bet if I had good wither armor it would possibly be my MAIN weapon. There are other weapons that I think I might like but have to test out first before I say anything definitive, such as the Chill Gale Knife, Heartstealer, Great Axeblade and Flail. But if something else works for you, by all means continue doing what you're doing.

Y'know. I used to have a pair of fighter's bindings that I got with some really good enchants. Unfortunately, I factory reset my computer and thus losing my save file. I'm currently grinding my way on Apocalypse+ to try to get some. I'm currently using Maulers, as they are the closest I can get. Also, I run a tank build with them, making myself my own healer. What I really want to see, is Fighter's bindings + Death cap + Enchant tome from another player. The attack speed would be through the roof

Personally I like using an exploding crossbow with the Dynamo, ricochet, and multi shot enchantments. Added with armor with the enchantment that allows for 4 rolls helps get really high Dynamo numbers, and a couple hundred pretty much one shot the really tough bosses. It's aslo really good with taking out large group of regular mobs.

Anchor with shockwave and swirling is very good too

I think you should showcase new mobs from howling peaks update that is coming out in the new Minecraft update, if you want to experiment with cross over videos. It’s a good business move to do that but your followers want dungeons content. Good luck buddy.

Personally, I prefer Truthseeker enchanted with Critical Hit, Swirling, and Shockwave I also have the Starless Night claymore enchanted with Critical Hit, Void Strike, and Shockwave! I use that mainly for boss mobs

Personally I agree with most of this video although I have a bit to add. Cursed Axe is technically more useful then Whirlwind and is the personal pick of most people Whirlwind is still solid for all uses and is my personal favorite of the two. Although swirling is a nice 40% dps increase on Double Axe it blocks leaching which isn't much of an issue when using life steal aura armors like wither and anima soul ranged weapons, I'd recommend committed instead because although it won't activate the most due to the high damage per hit it's an average of 50% extra dps doesn't block leaching and is nice for enchanted mobs and bosses but it's partly up to you're personal preference/build also the bonus of Swirlings area is mostly lost on Double Axe due to it's already maxed area effect. For the Fighters Bindings Critical hit Swirling Radiance is a solid combo although Committed and Shockwave also work in place of Critical hit. Resolute Tempest Knife is a solid and fun weapon which does both speed and damage well and the enchants shown go nicely on them. Although you can also run Gravity on them to counter the end combo knockback. Still overall a pretty nice video that I'd recommend for newer players that don't quite know the meta or what weapons to grind for/use.
