@@valeriecarswell7946 I just updated the description box with another set. If you find any 18 inch doll glasses, though will work, too. You can cover the inside with black vinyl (Dollar Tree has some) or color them in with a rich, black marker. Hope that helps.

What a great tip, Denise! Yes, the doll glasses are so easy to customize and they are a great size for most of my gnomes. I'm going to try and see if they work for my larger, 16-inch sewn gnomes, as well.

Your tip with the mustache is much appreciated...i was having a tough time with a mustache! .. oh. I even painted glasses bright yellow w/ smiley faces, peace signs. (Hippie gnomes)

Hi Sarah, I watched your tutorial on the biker gnome and was amazed. I had to try it myself. It came out so good. I was able to use an ornament of Santa boots they had in black with a buckle and I tore off the white fur. I added studded trim to boots and it worked perfect. I showed it to some of my friends and got a couple of orders. I made it as a biker but someone said it looked like a rocker so I added a guitar. I wish I could send you a photo but not sure how to. You’re a great teacher. I want to do the Santa next. Thanks.

Thes and all your gnomes are so cute, but I have a personal issue with the “bead hands”. To me it makes it look like the hands have been amputated. Lol Of course you always say to make them however we want, so I think I’ll continue making them with mittens. I’ve even thought I’d try to make mitten hands from clay. I finally figured out bare TOES but am still working on an easy bare FEET pattern. Once I have it, a surfer gnome is going to be the first. I cannot wait to make one!

This was more complicated to make than it looks. I did make it however the bandana tying and gluing did not come out like yours. I think that the dollar tree bandanas must be a lot smaller and thinner material than a 'real' cotton bandana sooooo with this being said I still really liked it and will tweak it a bit more in regards to the hat. I will probably use bandana material and just make it using a sock. I really like your channel. Thank you

Oooh - good idea on the felt, Becky. Did you use the stiff felt or a backing for regular? I was out of stiff felt, but those glasses were an easy fix by adding a bit of vinyl I had on hand.

Love the motorcycle gnome .however I need ideas for making him , a version of me, his OL Lady (female) gnome , I have some ideas off my own, but I would like your ideas too. so if they fail... So sorry, Julie, just seeing this now (I took off for the holidays). I would build it the same but use a nude-colored base so you can create a crop top from the leather (with very simple straps) and add pompoms for a little of the 'girly parts.' 😆 I'd add the studs to the waistband and down the legs of the pants, too. Oh my goodness, this is going to be great! If you already made it, I'd LOVE to see her.

Hi Sarah! Quick question can you build his boots from the already made dollar shoe like the baby shower shoes? I have used them before in some of the projects but never tried for a biker gnome. Hope to hear back from you. Love your videos.

You can build them using the booties, but my pattern won't work for them. To cover them, you'll need a 2-ish " by about 6 inch black piece of felt or other fabric you'd like to use. The cool part is that you could probably adjust the front (instead of a pleat used to fold down over the top of the booties as everyone does), cut it a bit and use a needle and thread to add thread for a cool lace up boot.
