I feel like the old lego bosses were more puzzle based and then you got to wham on the boss. The new lego bosses are mostly quick time events. So, in my opinion, the old bosses are much better!

The more puzzle centered boss fights tend to be more enjoyable. Mainly because lego game combat rarely amounts to more than spamming the square button so more involved bosses are a nice change of pace

Makes me wish there was a hard mode for the Ninjago game since it seems like the combat took up a lot of the development time. I get that we can't have a bunch of involved combos and moves in a game for children though.

When I was a kid I'd just play the ventless boss level over and over again with different characters, cause i loved using 2 sabers to damage her and then thought fighting on the falling droid was so cool 😄

Personally, I think the boss fight against Batman himself is the best Bossfight in Lego Batman 3. The boss is divided up into three phases, and each of them represents an element of the Batman we’ve gotten to know throughout these Lego games. In the first phase, he takes advantage of his destruction suit, which is symbolic of how throughout the Lego Batman trilogy, the dark Knight would use different costumes to take out his enemies with alternative weaponry. Then you had to fight him while he was in the Batmobile by using the other bat vehicles, a reference to the vehicle missions from the last two Batman games. And then, after all that Batman uses a sonic weapon to summon a swarm of bats to make himself a larger threat… literally. Indicating how, like almost any other version of Batman, he’s always got a back up plan. It’s also just fascinating in general to have to fight the main protagonist of the series, which was saying, I really wish they did back in the first Lego Batman. Considering half of the story mode is played from the villain’s perspective, I was really hoping you’d be able to fight Batman and robin. At the very least, we finally got to see that in Lego Batman 3.

I agree- the call back to Lego Batman 2 in particular I enjoyed since you have to do a very similar thing in that game with lex and the joker.

That complete saga anikin obi wan battle could’ve been translated well into the skywalker saga with the more evolved mechanics and game building tools

My take is that TCS's Anakin v. Obi-Wan was better in co-op, but SS's was better in single player.

@@karlispovisils5297 SS was terrible for Single Player aswell, the entire point of the fight was to be Obi-Wan fighting Anakin but they keep making you swap to C3PO and R2D2 to do puzzles which ruined all the fun the boss fight could have. TCS was able to balance both combat and puzzles perfectly while as either Obi-Wan and Anakin needing to work together till the end. So TCS did it 10x better imo.

I’m SO excited for some information on the alleged Lego Disney game and I’d really really REALLY love a Lego monkie kid game with all the different characters and all the vehicles and even their mechs which will be way smaller than their actual set versions but still really big and I think that would be extremely extremely awesome

THE GERMAN MECHANIC IS STILL MY FAV. When I was a kid I would always get my mom to play "Shot through the heart" when fighting him. I don't know why but it felt more fun like that lmao

The best boss from each lego game (that i own and this is my opinion) Lego movie 1 : Final boss Lego Marvel super heroes 2 : kingpin Lego Star Wars the force awakens : Kylo ren Lego Ninjago movie : General Kryptor Lego DC super villains : Level 10 boss Lego City undercover : Rex fury Lego movie 2 : the 2nd boss Lego Batman 3 : Superman Lego Jurassic world : the final boss (that white dinosaur) Lego the Hobbit : The goblin king Lego Star Wars the skywalker saga : Senate showdown .

Gotta agree with the Dalek Emperor being the best Lego Dimensions boss. Especially after the level itself where you're running from Weeping Angels... I have never been more afraid playing a Lego game, TT games absolutely nailed it. The Game's final boss (Lord Vortech) doesn't compare at all.

Really awesome Video Rugged.Glad that Lego Star Wars 3 gets some love. Really underrated Lego Game even to this day, but when I must choose the best Boss of all these it would be Galactus. It was just really cool cinemated and is pretty solid even to this Day. I also have an new Video Idea for you. I know it would be much work, but could you make a full level Ranking of every Lego Game started with the Complete Saga up to the Skywalker Saga. That would be my dream, but it isokay if you say it is too much. I will never forget the day you stopped making Skywalker Saga News Videos and started with this Rankings, because there was no news there. That was the best decision you ever made and back then I never thought you grow so fast. It's beyond crazy what happened and I really appreciate that you come so far. Congrats, you deserve it fellow Eagle.

To be fair to Palpatine in LEGO: Force Awakens, he is the first boss which is probably why he is a lot easier. Also, ouch, he went from the final boss to a first boss.

Havent played all, but, the funniest boss battle for me was in Jurassic World, Indominus Rex vs the Ankylo (i think it was Ankylo) when the indo knocks foen a tree, then in the second phase the indo comes misses the tree and comes back to punch it! Funniest thing in all lego games for me so far.

I love so many bosses, so it's very hard to choose, but an honorable mention would maybe be Lurtz from LOTR. The clown mech in Batman 2 on the other hand...it's laugh would drive me insane, it would go off every 5 seconds, and it got so annoying that I would often mute the TV🤣

i mostly agree but the davy jones boss battle in potc was way better imo the rain and the music made it so engaging especially with the sword fighting close ups

I’d like to give kudos to Chaos in the Sonic pack of Lego Dimensions- the puzzles help take advantage of Chaos’ watery body and the arena is large enough that Sonic’s speed is advantageous, while small enough that there’s a chance Chaos can hit you anyway. And then you turn into Super Sonic and you get the instrumental of “Open Your Heart” and it just rules.
