All of the BKF products work great. Best product I've ever found for cleaning cymbals. BUT please be sure to thoroughly rinse all residue off the cymbal. The prime active ingredient is oxalic acid, which can discolor bronze over time if left on the surface.

Bar Keepers Friend has this clip on their website as a cymbal cleaner apart from other things. There's a new cymbal cleaner on da block 👍 Well done man.

I used the liquid version and it worked great! My cymbals were really dirty so it took a couple times - wiping with paper towels in between applications - as they turned black quickly. Didn't seem to matter how long I left BKF on; it still took some "elbow grease", but these were nasty, dirty and from the 20th century. The chemical works fine, but with dirty cymbals you have to somehow lift the grime off and a simple water rinse alone is not effective.

The liquid version is diluted? This product in powder can really damage the cymbal finish.

How do the cymbal logos hold up after using BKF?

I'm really afraid of destroying my cymbals by using any non recommended polishes after doing just that when I first polished a cymbal years ago. How has that cymbal gone over time? As in has the mirror finish wore off and gone red or has it had no change?

Bar Keepers Friends works great. I use the powder that mixes with water like any other scouring powder fir heavily soiled cymbals. However the liquid version is the best. It's thicker than this spray version and it's easily diluted with water. Make a very diluted solution to go over your logos to test the area. Have a container of water to further dilure the area for good measure. Once you clean a few cymbals you'll get the hang of it. BKF is the THE BEST cymbal cleaner fir brilliant and traditional finish cymbals. I always finish the cleaning with some liquid hand soap and a thorough rinse. Wipe of excess water and buff dry. No need for overly expensive and harsh cleaners when BKF exsists. And FYI it does NOT remove the water based lacquer that Zildjian and Sabian use.

It does work I just tried after watching this video. I did have to hit some of my A Zildjian's with a Green Scotch brite pad and the sponge, as it for some reason brought up some hiden Flea bites that was embedded from the previous polish. This is a cleaner, not a polish. Therefore I might have to polish soon after. We will see! As for now the cymbals are clean, and did not change the sound. Kinda smells like a spray foam Toilet bowl cleaner!!
