Mine just got delivered today, it is badass. Very strong and solid, I'm not sure of a better deal for a rack of this size and quality.

The only thing I hate is the bottoms and middle tier. I’ve destroyed my finger one time trying to take it out and putting it back. That little lip in the back is a knuckle banger.

Hi so i have a entire free weight dumbell set from 5 to 75 soon to 100lbs and i have just enough room for this so is it bad to have dumbells resting on the floor ? Because i have enough room to get this rack and get a second small one but leaving a few pairs on the floor would save some space ?

You can leave dumbbells on the ground no problem, but you will have to bend down to the ground to pick them up and will take up a lot more room them being able to have them in rows off the floor.

thanks for the review I would love to give the rep Fitness dumbbell rack but they're sold out I can get the cap on Amazon right now it looks pretty good I'll take my chances. Do you know anyone that has bought the cap I'm wondering if it's better than the xmark or are they about the same

I don't know anyone personally with it, but both racks have really good reviews. The Cap Dumbbell rack is a little bigger which is nice, but the Xmark may be a little more solid. The Cap is a great price, so that might be the better way to go for you.

What’s the length on the lip that keeps the dumbbells from dropping? The cap rack I ordered did not have the lip long enough - anything about 45lbs easily slipped off which is a safety hazard..

It's about 7/8 of and inch on the inside of lip. I have 100lb dumbbells the hold great.

Just some pain points I found.... I ended up purchasing the cap fitness rack and found that the base is too small to hold the hex dumbbells... It appears the rep Rack has 11 gauge steel with a wider base to hold the hex dumbbells. My 50 lb dumbbells are literally bending the cap fitness dumbbell rack. make sure to have a thick base and at least 11 gauge steel..

I prefer solid dumbbells because it's something that can be tossed and no issues. Adjustable dumbbells do save space but it's something you cant drop that will break overtime. Have you tried the Titan 3 tier dumbbell rack? If so is the Titan rack better than the rep dumbbell? rack

Yeah the Titan Fitness 3 tier dumbbell rack is a great price. It's a little smaller and only comes in black though. I'd say Rep has a little more solid of a design with the 11 gauge steel, but both should hold just fine

@@MattTolbers I went with titan bc of size and price. I won't be able to get out of my car with rep rack in my garage. I still park my car in my garage gym. The rep rack looks solid 👍

Red looks good. Who makes the cup? Titan? 🤣 What pandemic? I had a similar set up... i put the heaviest dumbbells on the top so they were safer and less of a hassle to grab

It says on the info that it only hold to a maximum of 50lbs dumbbells. Is it sturdy enough to hold 120s?

It says it holds 5-50lb set and will require a second rack for more dumbbells. It recommends 800lbs per rack, doesn’t matter how heavy each dumbbell is. You could probably go to 1000 no issues but they won’t say that for safety reasons just in case something failed. Just put the heaviest dumbbells on the bottom row.

Chest, back, leg work. Haven’t used that much for awhile because I hardly get to lift with working way to much at the time, but that will be my goal to get back up to.

@@MattTolbers Nice! I was up to 120's for several exercises but like you said it takes time. I paid a premium for the core fitness dumbbells you suggested but they're great!

I am the complete opposite. My fixed dumbbells are 5-50 pounds and my Ironmaster adjustable is for anything over 50 pounds.

That works to! I had issues with my Ironmaster over tightening and being able to come lose which could dump plates on my face. See a video it almost dump on a guys face and he just barley moved out of way. As long as yours are good and you make sure they stay tight between sets you should be good, just looking out

I don't like that design. Those sharp pieces of metal which hold the dumbbells in place can sever a finger when reracking dumbbells. Dumbbell racks with a shelf design are much safer.

You actually can’t hit your hand on the middle while holding the dumbbell, you can only hit the bottom if you miss judge which is rounded down. Shelf Design have the bottom lip come up to support dumbbell if angled which can hurt your hand much more or else they don’t have a lip and need to be basically flat with no angle so dumbbell stay on which is harder to re rack or take off dumbbell. I can see why you thought that was the case from just looking though.
