This nymph setup is by far the best I have used , having used many in the past I would never go back to any other nymph leader setup.

Brilliant genuine resume of your euro nymphing set-up. I’ve been thinking of getting the Vision Nymphmaniac 11’ 3 or 2 weight for a while now & your vid was the final straw; I’ve ordered the 3 weight. I’ve also ordered the OPSC line; I’ll let you know what I think. I ask in your other video what tippet you use; well now I know. Landing your PB on 7x is pretty cool. Looking forward to watching more of your vid’s

The 11’3wt is a fantastic rod you won’t be disappointed. And the OPSD line is amazing the best out there 👍🏻

thanks for sharing looks like i have fishing my tippits to long.
@nymphingnewt76392 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, what length are you fishing your tippets? In water from 1 foot to 4.5ft I’m using a 5ft leader. Only in the depths of winter I’ll go longer just to hit the deep runs where the fish are.

Hi going to change over to this line Opst can I ask why you put the red amnesia and not just put it to slighter and do you not use tippet rings for your droppers
@nymphingnewt7639 Жыл бұрын
Hi Jim, I use the red amnesia to taper the line down so it turns over better, also use it as a sighter if I go deeper instead of lengthening my leader. I don’t use tippet rings for droppers but it would work just fine if you do. I use the water knot to do my droppers

Hi, do you wash your rod after each river euro nymph session?

Hi Gabriel, I’ve never washed my rod after a session. Do you?

Sometimes, I have nymphmaniac 11ft 3wt and sometimes push it back in the river to untangle wrapped line around the tip. Sometimes I just have in the shower to rinse off, advice from Pete from Ardvark youtube channel
