The edit on the Savage boot episode is evidence that Survivor is still editing episodes very late into the process. It's not coincidental that it was made to look like Stephen. Production saw the bootlist and then edited the episode accordingly.

I was 12 when Australian Outback aired, and I remember either a commercial or the “Next time on Survivor” segment at the end of the preceding episode saying that someone was going to be really badly hurt, and the way they edited it, they showed a crocodile, then either some sort of establishing shot or a black screen juxtaposed with the sound byte of a man screaming, then Jerri reading the news of the accident to the Ogakor tribe (maybe not in that order, but I do remember those bits clearly). 12-year-old me was convinced based on that editing that that meant someone had a run-in with a crocodile and lost a limb or something. I remember leaving the room when the “viewer discretion advised” warning popped up after a commercial break and asked my parents to let me know when it was over because I was NOT about to watch someone get mauled by a crocodile. …and then they called me back in very shortly after b/c no one ran into a crocodile. Instead, Sk*p*n fell into the fire.

Survivor spoilers always ruin the experience for me, so I try to avoid them at all costs. This isn't Big Brother where the game is being played out in real time.

Survivor: Amazon was widely spoiled, including Jenna’s win and a Jenna/Matthew f2. Some speculate that this was the reason why Jenna got an unusually negative edit while Matthew received a positive edit - to throw viewers off.

I remember reading spoilers about Redemption Island regarding an all female final 3 with Andrea winning the whole thing. Not gonna lie, that version would've been way better than what we got.

The redemption islands fake spoiler makes even more sense with the theme being Redemption Island. I am sure they assumed everyone in the cast would have some reason for redemption and both of the people in the fake spoiler needed redemption.

God I can't wait to be able to watch all of your videos but before I need to watch all survivor seasons. I'm from France and Koh Lanta (French Survivor) is pretty huge here so I wanted to know what Survivor would be like. I have watched the season 28 with a friend, we founded it really interesting because in France the strategic aspect isn't as developed as in the USA, we focus more on the strength and "Social" players are really strongs because there is not as much strategy to stop them. It's really good to see how different the perspective of the game is in USA and in France. I've also watched S1, I found it really boring and I'm currently watching the S2. I want to know how the game evolved.

I would have marked out for Kimbo Slice on Survivor and going at it with Boston Rob.

What’s the reasoning behind the spoiler about Michele being “obviously fake”? It doesn’t sound that outlandish to me, unless Michele has denied it herself.

I think I remember a spoiler for Survivor Phillippines saying that of the final 3, the "older man" won. Turns out that was Skupin and it wasn't correct! And I'm pretty sure it was Skupin who bascially leaked it to the spoiler as well.

I still have a screenshot of wikipedia where Kelley returns, Gavin gets idoled out by Rick 2--1-1-0, then Kelley, Lauren and Victoria vote out Julie over Julie and Rick voting Victoria and at 4, Victoria wins Immunity saves Kelley and Lauren beats Rick in a fire challenge. Victoria ends up winning with 6 votes to Laurens 4 and Kelleys 3.

Shout out to Edge of Extinction, which had a ridiculous number of fake spoilers, most notably including: David is out pre-merge and quits on EoE. Aubry and Kelley make it to Final 6. Both Edge reutrnees are in the Final 3. The only legit spoiler was Chris accidentally posting a picture him wearing the merge buff, which confirmed he returned at some point, but everyone was so burned out by the fake spoilers it was almost completely dismissed as a ruse lol.
