If you want a fast family seven-seater there aren't many options available to you - but the 2023 Skoda Kodiaq RS deserves your attention.
You can't get a performance version of the Tiguan Allspace. Nor is there a speedy version of the Kia Sorento, or Mitsubishi Outlander, or Hyundai Santa Fe...
So if you feel the need for speed but also want the sensibility of a family SUV with seven seats, what do you do? Family reviewer, Helen Frost, thinks this Czech SUV - which is smaller than it looks on the outside, and feels bigger than you'd think on the inside - could be just the ticket.
The Skoda Kodiaq RS is a family SUV that seats seven, has a performance bent, a wide range of tech and safety features and is comfortable for long road trips. It's fast, fun and it has airbag coverage for the third row, unlike some of its rivals.

Just bought the LnK variant which makes so much sense with huge discount. Frankly there is no other car in the segment which can compete with it in India. It’s neat on inside with all basic functions sans adas and such sleek body line. I love it and did not wait for the new launch.

Great review easy to park it great helpful👍🏼 fun to drive but the price🙈 I had ordered one,,,,kind of second though🤔 but I love the boost lots space when folding 2rolls seat back just what I needed!

In my country, Kodiaq starts at 30k eur. The RS model starts at 46k and if you want the good stuff (yes, even the RS model doesn't come with practically anyting worthwhile), you're paying 55 grand easy. So the car starts at 30, but you can additionally equip it for 25 extra. Though expensive, I think the fully equipped model is insane..

Good review, but as with most reviews it's thin on towing. So, I have a question regarding towing. We're in the process of purchasing a 2023 Kodiaq RS. However, the towing capacity of the vehicle is 2.1t, but the retractable towbar designed for, and fitted to the vehicle is only rated to 90kg. The subject matter experts including the dealer have assured me it will tow to the vehicle’s capacity on the 90kg towbar. Even a caravan that weighs 1.5t has a downward weight of 150kg, so the towbar would be overloaded pulling my box trailer at that rate! 😯 My question is, do you know why VW/Skoda attached a tow ball with a max downward weight of 90kg on a vehicle that they promote as towing 2.1t? I could be wrong with my calculations (it has been known), but I can’t get a straight answer and at the end of the day, I’ll be the one caught out in the middle of nowhere having to unhitch a caravan.😬 I have put this question to VW Australia, and they will email me with an answer when/if they can find one?🤔 If you can answer my question, it would be very helpful. I’m sure it would also help others who are considering buying this vehicle and want to tow with it.🤞

I love the skoda Kodiak but i just think its a little bit to expensive for what you are getting and a 132 kw engine is not enough for the lower trims

Why no mention of the missing features due to the chip shortage? Pretty sure you do not get the Canton stereo, rear cross traffic, or 360 degree camera at the moment

Skoda makes good, well packaged cars. Sadly, the dealership experience for new car buyers has been most disappointing. Better off buying a Japanese or a Korean car. Very disppointed with Skoda. After putting a deposit on a new car, waiting for six months and then to be told to fork out an extra $8900, seems unfair and ridiculous. Skoda's biggest downfall will be the arrogance displayed by some of their dealers. Think twice before you sign the new car contract and read the contract in entirety.

I have purchased Skoda Karoq Ambition in 2019 from a dealer in Melbourne for just 28K drive away, since then Skoda Karoq went to 40K for the same car in 2022 and the face lifted karoq starts from 44K drive away, my concern is what is the reason for such a price hike Skoda for almost the same car, Skoda was always a good value for the money and the car is good, however with this price tag now, Skoda lost the reason why I always bought this car as I want have good value for my money, the last joke was the new Fabia Monte Carlo for 38K drive away Skoda you must kidding me!!!!! Well will see in 3 years when my Karoq will be due to change over if Skoda is still continue this crazy price policy, otherwise I will look around for Japanese, Korean ones.

Overpriced unreliable VW product with an undesirable badge; if that was the derivative for some. There’s a reason families go for Japanese or Korean alternatives, perhaps because they are not likely to regratte the purchase once the warranty runs out.

Skoda ranks highly in all European reliability and ownership surveys (where they also compete against Asian brands). It’s also the number one imported brand in Germany. Suggest you update your opinion from the 1980’s…

My Skoda has 7 year warranty, will do 300,000km In that time, i won't be mad if it dies after then lol
