In today's video, I'll be discussing the only fertilizer spreader I use at my lawn care company, the Lesco Fertilizer Spreader.

Best non-paid endorsement I've heard! I added a SpreaderMate to my Lesco #80lbs Spreader and dang it went from wonderful light and easy to roll- into a workout for two lawns. I love it- but I would defiantly buy a ZSpray if I was doing 30 lawns per day.

Nice ! Only issue is our lawn sizes are 2,500 sqft on average. Would be hard to run that in the tight space

We actually use a small Scott’s spreader. For the little fertilizer applications we do and how our van is setup that works best for us.

Have you looked into the Anderson's spreaders? They cost a little more than LESCO but are worth every penny. I used LESCO for 25 years before switching to the Andersons spreader about 10 years ago. The Andersons is superior in the ability to adjust and dial in distribution pattern for different products (it has an adjustable cone shaped diffuser under the hopper). Your technicians can easily close the third hole and flip the edge guard up and down while in motion from behind the handles. It is also easier to push a full load on uneven terrain.

Love the 80# capacity, but this seems like the Rolls of spreaders for that price.

We have problems with the cotter pins breaking which stops the rotator from spinning. How are you guys handling this? We’ve started to use construction nails which seem to hold up for a couple months instead of only a week or two with the cotton pins.

Purchase lesco cotter pins. They seems to hold up much better than aftermarket replacement ones
