After a year of begging from some of our top horror fans here at The Dork Side, I finally gave in and watched You're Next... and I have been BLOWN AWAY! Erin is probably the best final girl of all time??? What a great slasher to welcome us back into the horror world! I love Erin but I can’t give her that credit cuz she’s only been in one movie and I feel like with the OG3 Laurie Strode, Nancy Thompson and Sidney Prescott we were with them more and longer but Erin is definitely TOP tier and I mean that with all my heart

Imagine if Erin had like 2 or 3 more movies. She would quickly become the highest rank out there! But Sidney is still the goat in my opinion

Erin is a frontrunner for best individual showing. But best final girl of all time has got to be Sidney! Her arc across 1-4 (plus her epilogue in 5) is masterful and, even on a semi-meta level, she refused to get killed off for shock value or to 'pass the torch'.

@@TheDorkSideTV Erin definitely make a good entry, but she does only have 1 film. Sydney with Gale has to be near the top, but my ultimate final girl has to be Ripley from the Alien series, imo😎

Sidney is always and forever my queen, along with Nancy Thompson, but Erin ranks right up there. She didn't give an eff and didn't care who knew it. She did not HESITATE to survive. You have to love that for her. So happy Cole is back to horror and looking just as tasty.

This movie was such a treat for me when I first saw it, the sheer ingenuity that Erin shows as well as her skills and determination is simply amazing, they give a good reason for her ability too. Overall this one is hands down my favorite home invasion film. Great reaction as always.

I love Erin! There are some other really great final girls tho…Not to give spoilers away, but check out: Ready or Not, Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (it’s criminally underrated), Final Girls, and The Blob (1985). Some of them are a little under the radar but totally worth the watch. And possibly a Final BOYS list soon?

Btw, a good thing of the cop d*ing at the end Is that hes the only one who witnessed Erin kill someone. The situation will still be suspicious but a little more favorable for Erin.
