My husband and I struggled with fertility for the the last nine years. We are in the process of adopting and I’m very excited but it took me probably two full years or more grieving the idea of how I thought my life would be while simultaneously trying to move towards a different path. Which is to say, I see you and I totally get you. Hugs.

6 years into marriage every fertility issue known to man .. we had our first son, then 2 years later - no issues to be found we had our daughter. It’s been 18 years . It can happen .

After a miscarriage, I found myself at forty pregnant again. Delivered at 41 and our son's birth has been my greatest joy. I love everything Lacombe. At 65, I've fallen off the make-up wagon. You have encouraged me to do it!

What's it like having children after 40? I'm 36 and single and I worry about having children at a mature age. From a physiological/biological perspective, the generational challenge and the physical work that's needed to keep up with a toddler and young child.. I'm already always tired

Thank you for being real. I get so tired of everyone’s perfect life. Today I spent 30 min on FaceTime with my completely sedated dad who is on a ventilator with covid. I couldn’t have expressed my feelings better and you helped me so thank you. Plus the makeup was gorgeous as always. But most importantly, true beauty is because of who you are on the inside.

Everyone's life isn't perfect. The only time we can really pretend or fool ourselves that our own life is "perfect" is when we are young. But once you hit your your 30s you know life was never perfect and you can look back and clearly see how *lonely* and desperate so many young people are in their lives.

Thank you for being so transparent about your infertility journey! My husband and I recently gave up on fertility. It’s a silent grief that people don’t talk about, especially since it’s not a tangible thing to mourn. It’s just a dream. Anyway, I pray for you and all of us walking through this journey but we find comfort and hopefully, a sweet little baby on the other side. Also, ordering the foundation now!

I'm 39 and after tens years of trying and feeling like a science experiment gone wrong, I have finally accepted it's not going to happen for me and my husband. We are looking into adoption, but it can be so expensive and we just don't make a ton of money. We have good jobs, but def aren't Rollin in money. Hope things all work out for you I know the pain and tears. There are so many families that come together in diff ways I pray we find the way the universe has for us.

That’s so hard, especially the total diet change. I was there. But once you get all the crap out of your system and your gut can heal, you will feel so much better. It is hard but it will all be worth it. Hang in there. This too shall pass.

I feel you on triggering days. Long story short: 13 years of infertility, now I'm researching adoption agencies. Some days are really tough and I can't stop crying. Infertility is the single worst thing I've ever experienced.

My youngest brother is adopted by my moms old friend. My mom had her hands so full with me and my other 2 brothers so she just couldn’t do it mentally or financially with another child it is an open adoption I see my brother from time to time and he legit has the best life with an awesome mom he does know I’m his sister and he knows my mom is his biological mother. Jericho turned out so well he’s now 14 with a heart of gold just like my other siblings and I. I think you should absolutely go for it you can decide whether you want an open or closed adoption 💜

As someone who has struggled with pregnancy and fertility (losses through that process). I’m now grieving the idea and picture I had always wanted in my idea of a family… So I completely and totally understand how that effects a person, because you literally process that loss of that and it’s difficult at times. as mothers, when we lose the pregnancy or baby, we lose all the firsts and whatifs, first smiles, words, steps, etc. im perosnally at a rough path crossroads of keep going/trying or give up. oldest was a mircopreemie (22 weeker) who was born and passed on halloween making oct hard and 9 miscarriages. adoption isnt an opinion for us and wondering if ivf/iui would even work.

Before covid, I finally got over most of my social anxiety and I could actually ride the train and be in a room full of people. Now I have to retrain myself to do that again. I struggle to even walk into work. I hear you on the being sad about moving backwards. its BS.

My daughter also just got hit with this anxiety we had to pick her up from college and she has to be in hospital for two weeks now she’s on med for 6 months boy it’s was the worst day off my life to see her and care for her like a two years old

Girl I've had the covers pulled over my head since 2016! Since my loving husband started cheating on me and dumped me. He was loving all right, sadly it was someone else he was loving. It's like Groundhog Day. I poke my head out then retreat back into my hole, lol. But seriously I feel you about life being too much some days. I mean who among us can't relate? All love, xo

Just try to live! Trial and error. Treat yourself better than he did and maybe some day find someone else who does. One day at a time. It's the little things that sometimes need to lift us up!

OMG Tati I’m so happy you shared this! I thought I was the only one that on the days on which I decide not to wash my hair or have makeup on (which I know, could sound superficial to some people) I feel very unmotivated and down and get caught in all the negative thoughts. I have to test out the foundation! It looks amazing on you! Also I wanted to thank you for sharing your struggles with us. Ive been a fan for YEARS, just want to tell you, youre a good person. That SHINES through the camera. Your honesty, integrity and strength are evident to anyone that pays attention. I'm 22 and I have found that I can't always go to my mom for help when I get down in the dumps, but there are multiple women online who I look to for positivity and a break from being in my head, or to watch while I'm doing self care for the first time in 2 weeks and you're one of them. The pep talk in this video really helped me do a little mental reset to take care of myself, at least for today. You are so appreciated and I've been subscribed for years for your positivity and makeup advice and both have been extremely helpful. 🥰 sending lots of love ❤

Tati I am so glad I clicked on this video- as a former MAC makeup artist, I’ve now been a high school teacher for 11 years, I have 3 kids 12, 9 & 6- (I also have had 3 miscarriages) keep the faith- take care of yourself…. Anyways, over the last 2-3 years I have totally lost myself…. I know exactly what you are talking about…. I love makeup and all things cosmetics, skincare etc. Probably why I love watching your videos- it’s my connection to a “hobby” I truly love. This really helped me to realize I am not alone in the way I have been feeling, I’ve not been myself, not doing my makeup like i used to, never fix my hair- just wash & go… and l can see & feel the difference in the way I feel, my loved ones see it too. This motivated me to get my groove back & take better care of myself…. Love you Tati- hang in there! ♥️
